Just munched a wispa gold chocolate bar and thought, is this the best chocolate bar ever?.

Whats your contender for the title ?

Does anyone else remember the Old Jamaica chocolate bar - memory say's it had a sailing ship on sunset orange coloured wrapper? Rum & raisin flavour, and silky chocolate that seemed somewhere between milk and dark.

... all these details, surely not a figment of my imagination???

It was re-released a couple of years back. Available in all good B&M stores.

Now available under the Bourneville brand, red and blue wrapper. No I've not been buying them by the bucket load, why do you ask...?

What has happened to Cadbury chocolate? Picked up a boost bar lately, it was a shadow of what it once was, most of their bars have an oily texture and lacking flavour.

So good, but the bastards discontinued them ages ago - apparently due to the cost/profit ratio.

For anyone missing them, the closest you'll get now is by picking up the beloved Australian Cherry Ripe bar, which is quite similar. You can get them from specialist shops or occasionally find them in B&M.

Hard concur. Wispa gold every time if it's available.

Chocolates as a whole though... It's got to be Thornton's Continental collection. I actually sent my friend in America a care package specifically built around them because we were talking about how superior European chocolate is over American waxy chocolate.

I ruined chocolate for him forever 😂😂🤭🤭

Doesn't this fundamentally depends on mood? A bit like sex?

Whispa is the chocolate bar of soft gentle sex and moments when you need to give your taste buds a gentle stroke

Lion bars are rough, hard sex with a bit of force and bite marks. And when you want a chocolate bar you can get your teeth into

Twix are the chocolate bar of threesomes.

A selection box is an orgy.

Belgium chocolate is sex when you are in love. And the chocolate you eat to treat yourself to the very best.

I could go on. But I'm off to eat a diam bar

"Crunchie, Wispa, Bounty, Turkish Delight "

The classic Fry’s TD is so forgotten.

Are they still available?

I always used to leave this to last in my Xmas stocking!

"Doesn't this fundamentally depends on mood? A bit like sex?

Whispa is the chocolate bar of soft gentle sex and moments when you need to give your taste buds a gentle stroke

Lion bars are rough, hard sex with a bit of force and bite marks. And when you want a chocolate bar you can get your teeth into

Twix are the chocolate bar of threesomes.

A selection box is an orgy.

Belgium chocolate is sex when you are in love. And the chocolate you eat to treat yourself to the very best.

I could go on. But I'm off to eat a diam bar "

You’ve thought about this way too deeply 🤣🤣

"Cadbury’s fruit and nut"

I think this is up there for me purely for nostalgia because my Mum and I would always split a Fruit & Nut because no one else in the family liked them 😄
