How would you handle the following:

Start chatting with someone, only body pics are public and you like what you see.

But then you swap face pics, and the chemistry just isnt there.

How would you kindly and calmly end the conversation?

..... asking for a friend, duhhh!

I by and large have the same experience as the above, of just being ghosted.

Sometimes they go the extra mile and block me without saying anything.

In an ideal world, they would be honest and say not for me 🤷‍♂️

Depends on the chat.

If the chat is sensible, then it's a ' I like what we've talked about but it's not going to go further than that '

If the chat is all sexual then it's ' i like our banter, but that's all it is, you understand that right'

If the person gets angry at that then it's a block

Its like you do want to give a person a chance. I feel like my interest in them can change depending on the chemistry.

Ive definitely met some "hot" guys with the personality of a wet blanket.

And men which I enjoy the banter but dont feel inclined to shag.

But on a site like fab, if you not wanting to shag despite how good the banter is, I feel like im wasting their time!

I've met guys socially that are great but no chemistry sexually but I've never promised nothing always left it as...we will see how we get along in person.

So I guess if you're honest and open about that then it shouldn't be a problem if they want to still chat.

.

If you’ve had a respectable and enjoyable exchange of messages up to this point, and the guy hasn’t been a dick, then I would try and let him down gently.

“Sorry but I don’t find you attractive” sounds (to me anyway) a lot harsher than “you’re not my type”. Like the former has a subtext of “you’re ugly” whereas the latter has a subtext of “you might well be someone’s else’s type”. If that makes sense (it just seems a little bit softer to me anyway)

It may come as a bit of a shock (I know, I know!) but men have ego’s too and if he seems a nice enough chap surely it’s better not to bruise it, even if you do think he’s a bit fugly!

I withhold mine until the convo feels like it might go beyond casual checkin type messages or the usual complaints that women dont reply.

Otherwise i may as well have them open and public which i dont want to do.

Attraction comes in many forms and its rarely based on someones face for me; rather who they are and how they make me feel, weather our play styles are similar. So if we are starting to click thats when i want to swap pics.

Having a 2/10face also ends a good few convos so i dont want to waste peoples time either so try to send them around a dozen messages in, depending on the convo style.

Then get onto arranging a call.

It's awkward isn't it. When we first started out years agi we got chatting to a guy on Friday who couldn't send us a face picture until after the weekend. When we did see it he wasn't for us and we gently told him, he was dreadfully upset and claimed we'd led him on. It's one reason why we have a social first nowadays

Generally it goes silent, which as we all know is simply a "no thanks" so as a rule i just leave it and move on, however if it's me and I'm not feeling it so to speak, i just say no thank you, thank them for their time and wish them the best of luck in the future.

I wouldn't necessarily end the conversation. Some of the best looking people on earth are total twats so maybe a compromise could be reached in your own mind.

If you need the looks and body then it looks like you will go no further with that particular person.

I once had a stunning girlfriend many moons ago when I was younger. Started off alright but then got to know her and whilst she was phyically and visually sexy, she turned me off big time as she was a complete twat in every other way.

My next girlfriend outweighed her as a whole. Not as good looking but similar body but better as a person.

I try not to worry too much about how they'll react because I can't control that, only how I respond.

Attraction is personal, and for me it's mental as well as physical. If I'm not feeling that attraction, I thank them for sharing, let them down gently, and wish them well. If they react badly, I'll block and move on. Kindness is important, but so are boundaries.

If they're not my type I send a polite C&P response saying "Thanks for your message, but not for me. Just not my type.

Very occasionally, if there is someone with whom I've built up a rapport & I'm always interested in meeting new, fun people into this lifestyle, I will state that I'm not sexually attracted to them, but more than happy to meet for a social on a platonic basis only.

Well my profile has pics of my face which is probably why I’m still trying to connect with people but if the body is nice, the conversations have been nice and you have been getting in, both looking for the same thing then why not at least meet for a coffee and see how you actually get on in person ? You may surprise even your self x

Thanks but you're not my type 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's simple, it might seem a little harsh, but it's not, it's honest. You cannot be attractive to everyone.

How would you kindly and calmly end the conversation?

"This is why its best to send a face pic withy first or second message.

On this, I couldn't agree more.

I am into faces, not bodies, and I have a peculiar taste. So, I don't like to have an interesting chat and then have to ask for a face picture just to reject them. It is cruel. I prefer not to reply at all.

Men shouldn't think most women prefer a Disney prince baby face. Not for me. I like the contrast of a charming smile (good teeth are paramount) and sad eyes

What about chubby cheeks?

Love a chubby body "

"However you handle it, they will know it's because you didn't fancy them so best to rip the plaster off quickly and just say they are not your type but you wish them well."

Plaster, forget the plaster, just amputate
