As is International joke day, according to another thread, here is fun menu for dinner tonight you may want to try for a night of heavy creams & juicy meats.

The Appeteaser: Get things started with something light, wet, and full of anticipation. Raw oysters slick, slimy, and rumor has it they will have you ready to shuck all night.Add a Sex on the Beach drink because nothing says adult dinner like tasting like sand and regret.

Main course: A heavy and girthy, satisfying juicy cut of rump roast. Make sure to slap it before it goes in the oven, and cover it in a very heavy, creamy sauce.

Accompany with a bowl of hot, buttery mashed potatoes, best served when you can really get your hands dirty smashin' them.

The Happy Ending: Finish the night with a sweet treat that knows exactly how to please. A decadent Chocolate Lava Cake, rich with a hot, gooey center that oozes out the very second you touch it in the right spot. Drowned with extra thick cream is the perfect sweet and salty mess that will leave licking licking and asking for more.

Enjoy

Customised a standard pepperoni pizza with green pepper and red onion and way more mozzarella.

It had never occurred to me before my (American) wife said "why are the English so stingy with cheese on their shop pizzas?" but she's right. The amount you get is risible and I always buy extra mozzarella to make a pizza work.

It’s not that warm over this side of the big hills

I’ll stick to the good side, then 🌹😘

E

You stick to your hot pot and I’ll have my bangers n mash in a yorkie 🤣

Deal 🤝 🤣🤣

E

It was lovely. Tbf It wasn’t piping hot as it was cooked earlier and I reheated mine after I got in from my run"

Better than mine! No dinner, ended up in work for 6 hours (intended on it being 2, but went down a rabbit hole of getting sh!t done!), had 3 weetabix and a cuppa tea when I got in 2 hours ago 🙄

Warm sausage would’ve been very welcome 🤣

I’m sure you’ll get plenty of offers 🤣

I can’t even comprehend eating three weetabix. The last one would be horrifically soggy

No no no weetabix need a crunch. That’s why one and a half is the optimal amount

Love Greek food! Our local market has just re-opened as a food court. We visited for the first time last Friday, had this Greek feast sharing platter..was to die for!

Tea tonight was far less interesting - chicken salad, with new potatoes
