We all have our own tastes and opinions of music, but is that one ( or several!) song that you like that everyone else seems to hate or say "Reeeeally?!" when you mention it?

One that is in my head, as a life long rock and metal fan I can't help but love the Wham song "I'm your man" Totally outside my regular listening radar but there we go!

How about you?

As a 52yr old, 6ft straight male....you can't beat Love Story by Taylor Swift.

Titz Towers, North Notts

Sacred War by the Red Army Choir. Great music to crush fascists to, but I've gone off Russia since they've gone into Ukraine.

Just A Stranger In A Strange Land.

Committed Head Banger here, but I have a liking for Earth Wind and Fire, September particularly, Adele, and Bocelli.

Another one is Jilted John by Jilted John. Not particularly musically good and full of lyrics you couldn't get away with these days but it's fun, tongue in cheek and just the right amount of silly.

I just don’t feel guilty, I collect music, I play music, I love music, if someone puts together a song and I like it, why feel embarrassed about it just because it doesn’t fit with your usual music taste.

I’m convinced that one day I will break my music streaming services, because who in their right mind puts a playlist together that contains Dr Dre, Smokey Robinson, black sabbath and Tony Christy?

This guy

I love a lot of heavy metal. Bug metalhead. But I do listen to quite a few Madonna songs lol. Also Elle King Ex's and Oh's. That's in the same playlist as bands like entombed and white chapel

My current obsession is a guy called Nic Johnston. He does crazy techno remixes of all sorts of songs. Reminds me of my old raving days. Plus hes pretty cute!

Last Friday Night by Katy Perry.

Total banger and a paean to hedonism even if it's totally out of my normal wheelhouse.

Ex's and Oh's is brilliant!

"They always want to come but they never want to leave" is a genius double-entendre.

"I like “I hope you dance” by Lee Ann Womack. I sometimes wish I was that person."

Her song I Know Why The River Runs is in my humble etc the greatest new country song of all time. Bit of a rock aesthetic but with all the country values of a soaring chorus and lashings of keening pedal steel wondrousness.

Billy Joel's album 'An Innocent Man'; start to finish.

...always thought 'Christie Lee' would be a cool username for a (female) profile! ...if you know the lyrics, I'm sure you'll agree?
