I just got told by a woman that it’s wrong for men to be bisexual, but it’s okay for women. It’s okay for men to have anal with women but not men. It’s totally wrong and she is a swinger on here.

Women are encouraged and it's almost expected that they're bi.

An ex of mine thought it was disgusting for men to have sex with each other as she thought anal was nasty. She was Bi herself though didn't do anal, although oddly enough, we did do anal at least 3 times with a condom. Her idea every time despite me saying I didn't want to because of her stance on it 🤨

There's a lot backwards people into there with double standards and often wind up being some of the rudest, disrespectful people out there while demanding they deserve respect themselves. Odd behaviour if you ask me

We have had similar messages from both lads and lasses. As someone who really struggled to accept that side if myself due to upbringing and schooling (Catholic) I constantly felt like I had something wrong with me. I found it even more confusing that I don't have romantic feeling for men but sexually I do. When we joined here we was abit naive thinking ot would be a place kf acceptance but at times it's really shocking how narrow minded people can be. We fully understand preferences and would never take issue with that but when you start making assumptions and applying a one size fits all that's why it's an issue and even worse is when people just randomly send us abuse for it. We get it all from people trying to tell violet she should not he with a bi man to people telling me they have a problem with me just for being bi and these are first messages. We will never change and we will always be ourself no matter what and whilst it's not nice to get those messages it does make us laugh and has now become an in joke for us.

The only time I've ever experienced homophobia is from straight women (most with pride flags on their photos) on the famous swiping app. I was called disgusting, a freak and worse.

It is heartening to see so many open-minded people in support of bisexual men.

One has to remember that sex between men was illegal in England and Wales until 1967, in Scotland until 1981 and in Northern Ireland until 1982. Equal age of consent only happened in 2001.

Same-sex marriage wasn't possible in Great Britain until 2014 and in Northern Ireland until 2020.

As it has taken the establishment and the legal system this long to wake up to the reality that men can be attracted to men and that there's nothing wrong with that, there are going to be many people who still believe "it's all wrong".

Hopefully the direction of travel will not reverse but we need to be aware that there are still plenty of bigots amongst us.

I accidentally went into a gay sauna once because I thought it was a health spa. I can assure you that people were trying to pounce on me. I had to leave very quickly I can assure you. There needs to be stricter regulation the door of these places.

I always equate bigotry (which this is) with stupidity.

Everyone is free to their preferences of who they do what with, but when you cast a judgement on someone for how they are then you are simply showing your lack of intelligence.

Most times this comes from fear, but as often as not it’s also because the person isn’t hugely clever too
