It's funny about names isn't it.

I like the name Willow and Rowan for humans but people tell me they're names for pets.

I'd like it if we called sentient beings by names that suited them.

Standsatbar

Likestoshop

Talkstoomuch

Peesatlamppost

That sort of thing

Love it. Dave the dog always cracked me up from the tv. Ours doesn't have a human name, though a rescue dog and didn't want to confuse by changing names.

" We've got a springer called Missy and a lab called Loki"

Our German shorthaired pointer is called Loki

We are considering a sister for him, a Visla, and she would be called Freya.

"I think it's hilarious a dog called Peter or Sue.... who likes and who dislikes..."

Definitely ridiculous, as is fur babys, referring to oneself as the animals parent and putting clothing on them.

You seem to have a few naming issues there.

Yeah I'm not a fan.

In hindsight I should have chosen a less human one for my dog. But it was still a better option than Abomination, which is what my youngest wanted to go with

My doggo is named after a character in Grease

I don't particularly like the film, but that's the name he was adopted with, so I just kept it
