I keep it under fifty quid. Just pricey enough to make sure I take care of them.

If I buy cheapies I just loose them and have to buy again and it adds up.

No. For the simple reason, I lose our break every pair of glasses I’ve ever had.

There was one time that I bought an expensive pair of Sunnies. Over £100 for a holiday in Greece. They are currently lying at the bottom of that sea. And I swore from that day, I will never pay more than £2.

I’ve thrown them in Bins, sat on them, mowed them (yes, you read that right I’m mowed over a pair of glasses) so the cheaper the better.

Narrator- as Woody finishes his little rant, we look towards his eye glasses. He is wearing and notice an expensive pair where he paid extra for reactive lenses….

I did this time, yes. My last pair were from the Tesco optician (non prescription) on a deal thingy and they've lasted a good 10+ years, but they are beyond repair. So, last time we went on holiday, I treated myself to some fancy ones from duty free but a bit cheaper than if they were in the shops. I felt REALLY decadent spending £120 on sunglasses

I only have the one pair and I'll wear 'em and repair 'em till they're beyond fixing.

Mr is an absolute sucker for a pair of decent sunglasses! He usually buys a new pair every year, although he does wear them pretty much 9 out of 12 months, due to his bright blue eyes!

He's got about 10 pairs stashed away! I'm only just getting into them, and have about 3 decent pairs. They're our little summer treat every year
