"Excluding sex, sport and partying what else rings our bells? I'll kick off with cider making, 'country pursuits', archeology and history.." Tinkering... I like to tinker in my shed (no, thats not an innuendo) Do a bit of carpentry, made some wood toys for my grandson, made a toybox for him. Made a Bluetooth garden/events speaker with charging points, then upgraded it to solar power to re charge it. Done some leather work and leather carving, multi tool pouches, keyrings, made myself a replacement watch strap... Tinkering.

Making people smile. " I did 30 miles one day. In a group of 99 of us including a vicar. Love it

I am fascinated by identifying different types of rocks, understanding their formation and composition, and studying the minerals and elements contained within them. Petrofilic.

"Astrophotography, I have always loved astronomy and decided to make my life harder by capturing pictures. Actually that sounds fascinating." It's a pain in the back side. Alot of how the image turns out has a lot to do with the editing afterwards. Now I have upgraded my Celestron with a reducer so it has a focal length of a out 2.2 which is fantastic for quick image or x exposures for x amount of time. The more light and time means more data is captured. Using various filters you can get some great images but all the data is useless if you don't know how to edit. I don't know how to edit.
