Tinkering... I like to tinker in my shed (no, thats not an innuendo)

Do a bit of carpentry, made some wood toys for my grandson, made a toybox for him.

Made a Bluetooth garden/events speaker with charging points, then upgraded it to solar power to re charge it.

Done some leather work and leather carving, multi tool pouches, keyrings, made myself a replacement watch strap...

Tinkering.

I enjoy locksport which is basically lock picking for fun but not profit. I can open a padlock in under 30 seconds or faster depending on the manufacturer.

My other hobby is magic. Card tricks, mentalism, little miracles, you know the kind of thing.

Other than that it's the usual reading, films etc.

I now walk a bit every day with dog and my target has went up over past year. Funnily enough I was at a naughty thing and was suffering with cramp for days after so it’s not entirely for altruistic reasons. But has helped lose a bit of dad bod and helped with sleep and energy levels

I’ve been working on a tattoo design and that’s involved learning drawing and inking as well as some photo and other magubbins to try and get it how I want. I’ll hopefully have good enough to ask tattooist and then the fun part of getting it done

I use to love rock climbing and hiking before my hip replacement.

Now my main hobbies are getting lost in the world of movies - have quite a nice setup if anyone else is into home theater stuff, getting back into chess and J got me a 3d printer for my birthday as I've wanted one for years although I'm having issues with that already

It's a pain in the back side. Alot of how the image turns out has a lot to do with the editing afterwards.

Now I have upgraded my Celestron with a reducer so it has a focal length of a out 2.2 which is fantastic for quick image or x exposures for x amount of time. The more light and time means more data is captured. Using various filters you can get some great images but all the data is useless if you don't know how to edit. I don't know how to edit.

I just bought a Celestron Nexstar 8SE as my beginner's telescope. Was thinking about a dobsonian. But it was going to be difficult lugging it around. Being in the border of London only makes it harder.

I can already see this hobby becoming way to expensive, especially if I get into astrophotography
