The next Newport Social will be on Saturday 7th October.

PLEASE DONT ADD YOUR NAMES IF YOU HAVE NO INTENTION OF ATTENDING.

ALSO PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE YOUR FILTERS WHICH STOPS ME FROM MESSAGING YOU, OR PLEASE MESSAGE ME .

YOU MUST HAVE A FEW RECENT MEET VERIFICATIONS TO GET PUT ON THE LIST.

Those who add their names, please make sure you remove your filters so I can message you, or please message me.

It's in a private function room, closed to the public.

it will run from 7.30-late

Entrance fee is £1.50 per person.

There will be a raffle and background music.

This is a social evening, and there will be NO PLAYING AT ALL on the premises, anyone found playing etc, will be asked to leave the premises and banned from future Newport Social's.

As this is a social event dress code is smart/casual dress, so please respect the managements wishes.

Anyone wanting information on hotel's etc, please feel free to email me.

All detail's will be sent out a week before.

Look forward to seeing our regular's and meeting new peep's.

I agree because I already know it is one of the best socials around. That is why I am in this thread. I have known about Newport Socials for some time. Just never had the opportunity to attend yet because of work/schedule etc

£1.50! Don't forget 140 miles via the M4 aint cheap you know. Do Wales believe in "mates rates" for visitors?

The hotels must be through the roof jeeeeez! Let me take a look and get an idea of just how expensive Wales trip is.

Don't forget that you also have to pay for the privilege of crossing INTO Wales as well mind.

I looked into hotels and plenty still available all over Newport. Reasonably priced, can book with no prepayment and good cancellation policies so nothing to loose.

Can I just add the following while i'm in here:

My lucky stars don't always shine for me therefore no guarantee of getting a drink...

So what are the odds of getting a winning raffle ticket and how much is that going to cost?

This is all adding up now. I am on a tight budget.

Now let's look at this from a purely Biased perspective:

Cost of the Social and said raffle tickets: Cheap enough.

Cost of a Hotel:

Unfortunately, we all have to pay the same.

Cost of Visiting One of the best Socials around: Priceless

The Privilage of traveling in to Gods country: Priceless.

All in all, it's not a Social to be missed.

PS. I'm travelling back from Bavaria for this one, well I was coming home anyway. But idoconvince myself it's for the Social.
