"Goose! "

Never tried it. Goose is also the pet name someone on this site uses for my manhood, no idea why though 🤷🏼‍♂️.

Noisy and vicious?!

My favourite poultry. Fatty and juicy. Can't be doing with turkey. Far too dry

Didn't think he was. Anyways, I don't eat turkey either it's for everyone else. I'm a beefy kinda guy, gammon and chicken is for Boxing Day.

We always poor a bottle of white port in the tray with the turkey cover the turkey in butter and bacon then seal it all with tin foil. Always comes out lovely!

Also cook it quite slowly!

That sounds really nice. I find turkey way too dry, but I'm guessing the extra liquid would make it (dare I say the word).......moist. I'll have to pass that idea onto our personal chef, thank you.

Controversial as it may be for a festive season, I quite like a nice slow cooked beef brisket with the Xmas dinner, with some good mustard.

I love beef brisket, the melt in the mouth kind. Have you been to Hickories in St. Mellons? Beautiful meat.

"Do you know how affectionate and intelligent pigs are?"

They're probably intelligent in their own way, I can't imagine they're able to compose a song or recite the works of Shakespeare. What I do know about them, is that they're delicious wrapped in bacon. But I do respect your decision not to eat them.

If you had to slaughter them yourself would you still eat them?

I was a vegetarian from age 11-28 and have reverted over the past year or 2, since having my dog, can't imagine eating any animal like
