What do the good folk of Gods country, do to snap themselves out of a bad mood? I'm currently in one, having not slept for longer than 2 hours a night since last Saturday. I'm extremely tired and quite grumpy as a result, something that I'm finding difficult to manage. Cheers 😫.

As someone who rarely sleeps & always wakes in a grump, for me it's the simple &, seen by some a the boring things that work. Taking the dogs for a walk, watching a film with them & talking them through it. Not sure what it does for them, but makes me feel better. Also reconnecting with family & best friends, if just a brief hi & how's it hanging X

Thanks all. I took my dog out and stopped off for a coffee, I'm feeling a lot better for it.

the seaside

Crisis team advice has been:

Go for a walk

Have a cup of tea

Have a hot bath

Listen to music

Colouring book

Or the best one was "can you call back when you're not so upset?"

Some will work for some people, didnt work for me.

Visit to the beach always helps me.

If you're a member of a gym then train.

I have never once felt as bad after a workout as I have before if I've been on a downer. Cried through some workouts but always left feeling slightly less shit than when I arrived

I'm actually thinking of rejoining the local gym. It's something I gave up a few years ago, probably in correlation to joining this site. As the couple above said, it's the thought of doing something or starting to do things which is the hardest step. I've felt quite lethargic recently, but even more so the last week or so. Hopefully I'll snap out of it soon, it's not the best feeling. Thank you. 🙂
