The first post got some interest, so here’s the official (and still very unorganised) invite. Think of it as less “event management” and more “turning up and hoping for the best.” No guest list, no RSVP pressure — just comment if you’re thinking of coming so others can get a feel for the group

When: Friday 15th August – show up whenever you want. Seriously, I’m not timing you.

Where: Swansea Beach – I’ll drop a what3words on the day so you don’t accidentally end up picnicking with strangers.

Dress code: Comfy and casual… unless you’re a ballgown-to-the-beach kind of person, in which case, rock it.

Bring: Drinks, snacks, and good vibes.

I’ll bring wood for a fire later — more wood = bigger fire, so feel free to add!

Fine print:

• I’m not providing parking info because Google exists and I don’t know either!

• I’m not the police. Or the lifeguard. Or your mum. You do you - but don’t blame me!

• This is a public beach, so this is a (very disorganised) social.

If there’s anyone out there that loves a bit of organising stuff - Please, please take over. I’ll happily demote myself to ‘person who turns up and eats snacks.’
