I don't think you can.

The chatrooms used to be buzzing, there were always lots of people on cam. These days if people want to entertain and engage with people on cam, they use another site and get paid for it.

I think if Fab swingers collaborated with an entertainment company, and hosted a series of quality swinging events, it may bring people back to Fab.

The cams are a fair point. Did the majority come to the site for that though, or for the genuine in-person connections and meets? Have they all now switched to alternates? Fab is surely the best non app based site though? Is it just not being “promoted“ / getting word of mouth the way it used to, particularly with women and couples?

Was here originally in 2010 ! It’s deffo changed. Nowhere near as much fun, everyone’s so hung up on weird shit - it used to be fun! Parties were another level - I’ve only been to one that’s measured up and that’s Iza’s.

Having been here almost since Fab started, I would be more inclined to say that the site has evolved rather than changed. Obviously as the site has expanded it's attracted different elements of society, each with their own different tastes and desires. We've also got older and a new younger generation of swingers with their own ideas of what constitutes, "Swinging" has emerged. It still seems to work for me in connecting with people on the same wavelength as myself, and whose boxes I tick especially where I come within their age criteria.

A fair assessment. I think the site is less busy / active than it used to be however, and the gender imbalance does seem to have deepened. The generational point is a fair one, and I go back to perhaps people are using alternate apps now rather than this site / a site

For me, it needs to be less men on here!

It must be 150 men to 1 women, they will leave and come back within a week, same photos, same attitude, so maybe not let them back on so easily, have a waiting list and if a profile is not been used for a year or so, admin could delete it.

Controversial!!!! but a name and shame forum, when people let you down at the last minute but with proof of messages etc

Having been here on and off for over 10 years the community feel has changed. It’s good that when I have gone due to work in the past I have come back to a fresh load of new faces but it’s still always heavy on males looking for a quick one nighter and not the thrill of seduction, anticipation and the taboo of it

I sometimes feel though that a lot of people are joining fab thinking it's a "hook up" site and don't necessarily understand the swinging concept is as much about friendships and connections as it is about sex..

As Fab has changed I think many swingers have changed the way they use the site. They meet more at socials clubs or events and go from there .

I have been lucky too and some of my dearest and closest friends I have met through this site . Some too many years than I care to remember lol and others more recently

Totally agree.

Yes the swinging community was smaller when I first joined Fab but everyone got on and nobody was charged to go to a house part.

The hosts would put on a buffet and everyone would take their own drink.

My way would be that site needs to attract new women (maybe a referral programme) and close registration to single men and have a waiting list.

Also there are so many time wasters and fakes on here. There should be a strike off button which is the opposite to a veri - 3 strikes and your out (or back on the waiting list)

This means the fakes and wasters are gone, there is a better make to female balance and the genuine people stay here.

That’s my thought based opinion 🤷🏻‍♂️

The site has definately changed. No manners with some and some think they are above others. Chat rooms used to be fun but a ceetain person spoiled that. To think i used to spend hours on the site and on cam. Now i am lucky to spend 10 minutes. Used to hold parties and have made some great friends on here. I do enjoy the social side.

The consensus seems to be that there is a disproportionate ratio of men to women/couples. I suppose the easiest and most cost effective way to improve this situation would be to only allow site supporting male members, if people have paid their money they perhaps would be less likely to be abusive etc. You could still enable women and couples to join as none site supporters but would need to photo verify themselves first to avoid men setting up free fake accounts.
