What the longest journey you have made for a meet and had a no show mine was Ipswich 2008 from North Wales

Tonypandy.

Cardiff to Leeds. Fortunately I'd made plans to visit Pandoras anyway.

Absolutely this

When I was actively meeting I wouldn't go further than half hours drive

Cardiff

For the right person / situation

I'd travel.. far..

But in the real world

I wouldn't go more than 10-15 miles (30 mins ish at most)

I'm not desperate.. but I do value my free time .

So of you can't put up.. I'd rather you shut up.

In the nicest possible way

In 14 years we've never had a "no show" but then we do have a strict selection/vetting procedure.

The site gives you all the information and tools you need to pick prospective meets, it's then up to you to do your own "due diligence" to make sure they are who and what they say they are, and that they are genuine.

Trust your gut, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

This absolutely infuriates me!

I refuse to travel more than 20 minutes for that reason alone.

A lot say willing to travel BUT if there's something In it for them.

Keep the radius real!

Although one chap did travel 3 hours to meet and I found that incredible and he was a real gentleman

Why arrange a meet with someone so far away?

All meets we have had have been local apart from 2, one was up the valleys n arranged to meet a Saturday afternoon n went on my motorbike so if no show I'd go for a ride.

2nd was on holidays n we did tell the guy we met we would only wait for 15 minutes as we were not letting it spoil our evening if he didn't show.

But on both occasions we did meet up with them.

Been lucky not to have a no show yet. I've travelled 3 hours a few times. But I normally wait at least a few weeks and talk on the phone first if it's that far away.

Wouldn't go more than 30 minutes if I couldn't do my usual checks to see if the person was serious about it.

Have learnt to get a social meet first, if they dont show for that then theres no play meet.

Like the nude beaches if they dont show then just enjoy nature.

My logistics make me seriously unreliable so I refuse to let anyone travel to meet me. I’m forever amazed at the distances people will travel but that also makes me wonder why they aren’t finding anyone local and am I the only mug that has replied and theyve hung on.
