I think it's important to give respect to all.

Some plus size people (myself included) have body hang ups and try to keep out of the spotlight.

I'm simply just trying to spread and reach out a hand of friendship to say don't stay in the shadows, come forward, as you worth it and yourself worth is absolutely amazing.

I think it's probably a lost cause setting it to a clothes size.

My clothes are anywhere from size 20 to 28

And a 5'1 size 16 would look different to a 5'8 size 16

It's probably going to be what each individual person identifies as

As someone who went from a size 22 (18 stone) to a size 12 (12 stone) 8 years ago,it wasn't a term I ever used for myself when I was obese. I classed myself as overweight/large/fat. I absolutely respect that a lot of overweight women choose the term BBW to describe themselves and there is absolutely a huge amount of people who admire that but it was never a term I felt relatable to personally
