I used to get them. Comes on like a Thundercats. I never did figure out why. Very much not pleasant!!

Trying to relax helped but didn't cure it. Hydration helped a bit too. Was far worse I'm Summer. Maybe heat related?

I have had that bad of a migrane i can't open my eyes for a few minutes when I cum. It can be that bad I have cried with the pain. I suffer with migraine on a regular basis but when I orgasm on occasion it can be so unbearable.

couple, us we him her.

I (Mr)used to get horrendous headaches upon orgasm when I was on antidepressants,I think it was having to really concentrate to be able to cum that caused it.

Also

Possibly might be worth checking her blood pressure

I had exactly the same issue, and still do occasionally. It’s mainly random although tends to be particularly prevalent if I’ve been having sex for a few hours, and have put in a shift in terms of physical exertion.

Sometimes when playing with the wand and as I cum, I can feel a pain going up my neck and I end up with a severe banging headache where I literally can't move for about 5 minutes. I can feel it coming but can't stop myself before. It would be interesting to know why this happens and if it happens to more women? X

Happens to me (m) but only when I'm hungover. Personally think it's blood pressure related, but I'm not a doctor

I get this sometimes particularly with edging.

I spoke to my GP about it years ago, who had never heard of it. She in turn spoke to a neurologist. He had said it wasn't a concern as it goes again pretty quickly once I stop.

I've actually been suffering with them more regularly recently but I do suffer with high blood pressure nowadays so will have to go back and see my GP again I think.

Because I know it's a risk I refuse to be restrained etc as I need immediate release when it's triggered.

Thank you for the response I personally have no faith in the doctors as went about 5 years ago they gave me all the checks including sexual checks they found nothing and said basically they weren't prepared to delve any further

I get them too. Massive pains across my forehead. I was sent for a CT scan.

Consultant said to make sure there’s a slow build up to any orgasm, he also said to keep away from red wine and marmite.

I find all three hard to resist!

I went through a phase of this about 12-13 years ago. Happened pretty much every time I climaxed!

Then went off as quickly as it came

I had this for about a year after my Daughter was born. It was so bad I avoided sex!

I, too, think it was blood pressure related. But 15 years is a long time to suffer!

I would revisit a (different) health professional. x

I used to get them. Before I had hysterectomy surgery! Suspect it was, for me, hormone and/or blood pressure triggered.

Eyesight can be another trigger, as can gnashing of teeth.

Might be worth talking to the nurse at the surgery or a pharmacist.

check your blood pressure. Also eliminate the usual suspects, booze, coffee, chocolate, fluorescent tubes, perfumes, meds and other chemicals.

I have a proven method to stop migraines in their tracks, even when started.

Works every time and I've seen the smiles return within minutes.

Challenge accepted.

This is easier for glasses wearers. Put your middle finger on the edge of your eyebrows and let your index finger find the pit and blood vessels a few mils around the bony bit of the eyebrow bone.

This should make the arms of your glasses raise.

That's the easy bit.

Now press that pit and blood vessel with your strongest finger and squeeze it so hard, that it hurts (you're gonna be in pain for a long time otherwise)and squeeze it for 30-60 seconds. That should deny the pain source of enough blood pressure, to allow normal service to resume.

Release and see how you feel. Hopefully better

There is nothing worse than having a migraine, going to the chemist and arguing the toss that paracetamol will not be up to it and ibuprofen/aspirin will not be compatible with GERD (Longterm heart burn) only to find out that your vision is fading fast in one eye. The clock is ticking at this point.

Hope this helps, it did last year!

Patience is not a virtue, it's torture at this point.

As the male half of thic couple I will openly state that this has happened to me. Note every time, not by a long chalk, but when it does happen it's excruciating. Often referred to as sex headaches or orgasm headaches, advice can be found online.

Funny thing is I haven't had one for a very long time, but we all know what's gonna happen now

Check thunderclap headache.

She had one after a big orgasm, ended up in hospital for 48hrs as the dr's were concerned. She called our GP about something routine shortly after and mentioned it. Said we will look into your reason for calling later, the headache go to hospital now, I'll tell them you're coming.

Once all good I do like to claim I almost fucked her to death!

But seriously, thunderclap headache.

Happened to me before, try and not overexert yourself.

If your orgasm is far away just let it be, don't chase it.
