Most doctors do home visits but I'm guessing they don't have the vaccine...

I'm sure they could advise you on how to get another if you explain why you need a home visit

I'm sure something can be arranged for you, even if it goes the same way as before.

Just speak to your doctors surgery and see what they can do,good luck

"Has anyone only had one jab? "

I've only had one, didn't really want that but the in-laws told me they wouldn't see their grandkids if I wasn't jabbed...

I was waiting for my 2nd of may 2021, then Boris started talking about a 'winter booster' (3rd one)..

That was enough for me, they said 2 and back to normal, when he started talking about multiple ones the penny dropped and I ignored all reminders from that point on .

Also got COVID a few weeks after getting my first one aswell having avoided it since the start, more red flags than Chinese New year...

No jabs here and doing just fine had Covid twice and both times not been bad at all . Each to their own and all that but my advice would be unless your old , extremely overweight or have a underlying condition .... stay clear of that jab that’s my opinion.

I understand now. The NHS is on its knees at the moment. Unfortunately someone coming out to your house to give you a vaccination is not going to be a priority at the moment. 2 options are wait or go out to a vaccination centre.

If you don't go out and nobody comes in your home as you've stated more than once above, are you really at risk of catching covid in reality?

"Has anyone only had one jab? "

Do you feel that you need a second jab, I've read your post replies, as you state it's difficult to go out and drs won't go to your area.

I realise everyone has their own opinion about the vaccine but do you really want or need it because it looks like you only have the hard choice you made for your first one x

That was to respond to all above comments.

I’m pro vaccine but I would concur, I’m not sure at this point the benefit of another jab is all the great at an individual level unless you are high risk, though this may change again.

I don’t think the science on boosters is clear cut. The original vaccination policy was largely abut preventing hospitals being overwhelmed and high numbers of deaths in vulnerable groups, it was not about saving lives of vaccinated individuals. The risk to healthcare services has subsided and I’m not high risk so my individual risk of harm from Covid is very low. I’ve on several occasions been in prolonged close contact with family members with covid without contracting it myself. As it stands I see no benefit to continue to booster those under 60 but then I’ve not been reading the latest studies so I accept I could be very wrong.. do tell, what does the science tell us?
