The next Durham Social will be held on Friday 21st September

Everyone that came along to the last one enjoyed it so Iv decided to arrange another.

There’s also lots of birthdays to celebrate.

Going to a club for the first time ever, on my own doesn’t sound like the greatest idea. Swinging scene don’t seem to be the friendliest bunch of people. Stood on my own being ignored isn’t my idea of fun.

Talk to people then. That's what everyone else does. Being sociable is a bigger part of swinging than sex. If you've never been to a club you can't comment on what they're like really.

That’s why I joined Fab. To talk and get to know people. Rarely get a reply never mind get to know anyone. If this site is a reflection of how ‘sociable’ the swinging scene is I Defo won’t be rocking up to a club on my own.

Its all in the approach. We don't play or meet with single guys. But do you know on holiday last year we had a message from a guy saying he seen us in the pud last night and could he come say hello the next night and have a drink. We said of course. Over that week the guy drank with us and our biker mates and has now become a good friend. We are stopping at his house next year when we go back on holiday and he has been invited to attend some of our adventures with our fab friends. He has no expectations and knows we don't play with single guys. Its easy to make friends when folk realise it's not all about sex. He's now got a network to play with and who knows where that will lead for him
