Good opening messages to women?

Guys, what are your suggestions for good opening messages to the beautiful women on here?

I like to keep things brief with an introduction and asking how their day is going, but it's clearly not working!

What's had success for you?

Apparently, most people check out your profile before reading your first message.

But by your description, your messages sound a bit 'cut-n-paste'

" Hi, I'm me, how you doing?"

Try carefully crafting a witty message saying what you like about the lady's profile or pictures, why you think you are the person she is looking for etc.

You still won't get any replies, but it'll keep you busy.

Ha! I think that's the issue... I've tried crafting unique replies but got so little in response it became too much of a time investment.

Never thought about it when I wrote the original message, but I suppose because I wanted feedback from someone in the same situation as me.

The women on here have everyone throwing themselves at them, so for me their experience may not be relevant.

But yeah, input from women is more than welcome, if you have some feedback I'd love to hear it!

I'm still going for quality over quantity. Though most of my meets have come from messages received, rather than messages sent

Interesting. Do you think going to socials helps and getting verifications?

Brilliant advice. Exactly what I look for in a first message

I wouldn't know no one ever reads them on this cock fest......

Ladies and couples must get overwhelmed with messages mine are never read they are never pithy or cut and paste each message is different to the individual status, meet or profile.

If I sent 50 messages 50 will be mugged off it's get frustrating especially when they then add a later status moaning about a time waster.....

"I like to keep things brief with an introduction and asking how their day is going, but it's clearly not working!"

I'm the male half of a couple, but Char has her own profile. Can you imagine just how many "how's your day?" messages she gets each day? It's a dead end question....most of the time people's days are boring and often include bad news.

Try reading the profile (I know....it's difficult with a lot of them as they don't say much) and asking something a bit more specific. It shows you're interested in them and not just doing a scatter gun approach.

If there's nothing in their profile, maybe maybe find something interesting about where they live (if they say) or ask about a certain pic (don't just say it's a good pic)

Open questions, that give the recipient something to hang a conversation on work better than the boring questions most ask.

However, there's hundreds of guys for every single women, some will mass delete when the mailbox gets too full, others will delete simply based on age or location, most will look at your profile and decide whether to read a message based on that.

Good luck.

For us, most of the time it’ll be that we just don’t find the person attractive. Sounds brutal, but there it is. The time waster may well have been very attractive, but later found to be a time waster. When deciding who to meet, we see who we’re attracted to and then see if they’re available.

I like to ask what makes a woman unique and stand out the most , or ask if they wear any foundations / lipstick , maybe ask them about that foundation / lipstick - for example I used to work for Debenhams and on my breaks I used to go to the Clarins counter & ask different questions , example , what kind of foundation would be good for dark skin/ light skin .

So true! The trouble isn't the message as 99% of mine sent never even get read!

Not complaining. Well only a bit. Pretty sure if I was a woman I'd do the same.

I ask for a face pic with the first message because regardless how good your chat is without that physical attraction it isn't going anywhere.

If there's no face pic but a good message I'll reply.

A good message that's showing humour and that someone has read my profile is what I'm looking for. You get out what you put in.

If it's a rubbish generic message teamed with a rubbish empty profile I'll delete.

Just stick with the forums and be you not someone else. Go to clubs or social group meets and make an effort to engage. I do send the odd message but only after engaging about the profile I have seen or read. It’s not rocket science or an art form it’s just communication skill. Above all be polite no matter what you seek. Happy Fabbing

Read the profile, send a face pic, mention why you think you're a good match, be polite, pay a compliment.

Unfortunately age can come into it and yes a few guys “mess with the truth”. However there’s no point in telling porkies is there. I rely on good people doing their own groundwork and finding out what they need to know as simply as possible.
