The greek islands are gorgeous, especially the less populated ones. Have never been to Kos though I've heard the beaches are gorgeous

Only traffic accident I've ever had was in Kos. No traffic lights stupid man on a bike thought he could cycle out of a petrol station in front of traffic.

Beautiful island, but food wise? Nearly every restaurant only served all day breakfast and chips.

We love Thassos...you get there by boat from the mainland. And Kefalonia is beautiful too. But we love each and every Greek island we've visited cos they all have their own flavour and beauty. And the people are so special. Got me hankering for a Greek hol now sigh

Skiathos is very nice green greek island with nice golden beaches but Mykonos is by far our favourite Greek island,,,,,Beautiful nude beaches full of beautiful people with a lively fab hedonistic nite life ! xx

Mykonos is the best island been 11years running now. also done Zante, Kos, Crete, Samos and Lesvos

The guy earlier will have ment all closed down for winter months, they dont open till April May time. Prices have gone up over last few years. (mykonos is one of the most expensive be warned)avoid eating in little Venice

Have fun in Greece this year.

too many countries with vastly differing economies and infrastructers to make it work properly.

best thing we did was to stay out of it.

But mainly in the 80-90´s as I found Cap d'Agde and travelled to that place many times.

But now it's time again. I'm going to Tigaki on Kos late August for 2 Weeks.

You've probably no idea just how beautiful the Greek islands are. The heat, the sun, the white buildings, the boats in the little harbours - it's paradise on earth. The tempo of life is perfect for me, and I just lay around like a lizard, soaking the warmth into my bones.

I don't spend much time on the main beach - this is a very "Greek family" island, and the kids can be a bit noisy. I often sneak off a mile around the bay to the small nudist beach - a small number of large middle-aged Germans, one or two Brits and the occasional Greek couple or family. There's also been two (very) openly lesbian French girls for the last couple of days, one of them quite butch but the other very femme with an astonishingly pneumatic figure - NOT silicone, as far as I can see! They have a habit of vanishing into the rocks at the back of the beach to have sex every now and then - and one of the girls is quite vocal, which makes everyone else on the beach look at each other and grin!

However, generally this is not a party or swinging island at all, so I'm leading a very quiet life, playing scrabble and reading. The evenings are lovely; after a couple of happy-hour cocktails at a little bar behind the beach I walk into town and choose where I'm going to eat. Often I just stay in the first taverna I come to, where the humming-bird hawk moths buzz around the flowers on the silk trees in the garden as I demolish some stewed goat or some nice fresh grilled mackerel. Couldn't be better!

Stayed in Lassi on Kos late October a couple of years back - the village shut! Had been a bad season so everything closed down - only a 40 minute walk to the capital though, so all was well...

Nobody on the beach apart from us, to locals exercising and a young guy nude sunbathing!

Kos in May , in Kos last 2 weeks , was there in 2020 and managed to get the wife to go to the nudist beach in Tingaki. Her first time in a nudist beach and wasn’t sure if she was going to back out, she didn’t and loved it so much she’s insisting on going back this May. If anyone could help with some advice, she would rather go to one that has sun beds and possibly a bar, is there any on Kos like this, unfortunately Tingaki nudist beach doesn’t have anything and she hates just laying on a towel as the sand was getting in all sorts of places.

Love to possibly meet another couple or maybe a single guy while there.
