Everyone has their insecurities.

You should never compare yourself to anyone else as we all have our own niche and there is someone out there for everyone.

I used to think the same way but not anymore! Life’s too short to be comparing yourself to others or feeling insecure because you’re not as pretty or as slim as someone else. Whilst you’re worrying about that I can guarantee there are a bunch of men looking at you thinking “gorgeous!”.

It’s hard to overcome it but you can!

Really? You don't look that different to me in your figure and I have a queue as long as my arm of men of all sorts asking to spend time with me.

As i have said in another thread I was quite surprised by the amount of interest in me as a what I would consider a typical woman in my 40's when I stated and now 50's.

My husband wouldn't give a woman under a size 10 a second look, as he says they are like little girls nor proper women, whatever that means.

Sto p judging yourself against others and be happy with who you are.

It's a great motivator seeing pics of yourself naked/ Semi naked. It's what pushed me into losing weight.. nearly 4 stone in total. Nothing anyone says will change how you feel. If you don't like what you see then change it.

I guess from the fact that are many more that are worse than me, I look at the people around me and see a great deal that are worse off than me.

I'm not 30 any more so don't expect to have the figure or complexion of a 30 year old. I can never be 30 again, there is nothing I can do about that so I have to be comfortable with what life has given me.

I suppose the pleasant realisation that not only 'dirty old men' found me attractive helps.

Well mr and mrs G I think you are both fabulous and mrs G you are a fine looking real woman with curves in all the right places so don’t compare yourself to the stick insects and gym bunny’s who work so hard at their look. Really it’s just the modern instagram world and there’s no point worrying about comparing yourself. If you want to tone up then do so by all means but don’t fret about it....you’re lovely

May I make a suggestion.... Book your next holiday to a coast with a few nudist beaches. (East of Spain, skiathos, Rhodes).

I found it makes people really comfortable with their own body. And I think it will help with confidence. Not to mention it's good fun!

Also you said about your photos being taken at flattering angles. I'm sure its the same for all users on here. However.... The camera never lies. You looks great!

It's not healthy Imo to compare yourself with others, if the likely conclusion is that your self confidence takes a hit. I've done it in the past and now largely just appreciate others for how they are. There are always others that are fitter, prettier, brighter, more humorous, popular etc, so it's a one way street to pain, when we evaluate and compare. Most people are average for most things, so not being at an extreme positive point is great for the majority.

There are many lovely people here who accept your for who you are and value you. Bias yourself towards noticing the positivity that comes from others to you, rather than forming an assessment of you and them that will knock you. Notice each time you start that old criticism and do something outrageous and immediately stop yourself. That outrageous action will be a very clear message to you that you are stopping the habit.

That's just a suggestion but you're worth more than repetitive hits. In any event, many people who you perceive as wonderful will find you attractive - finding good matches that are mutual is a healthier option.

I think it's only natural that everyone has confidence crashes from time to time, myself included. I find it can sometimes be because of what else is happening in my life away from Fab, or it can sometimes feel like everyone else in Fab is having fun except yourself, which of course is never true, but it can leave you feeling deflated.

None of us are perfect and even those who look like super models will have some sort of insecurities I'm sure.

Stop comparing yourself to others and just concentrate on yourselves and going out and having fun.

We are not defined by our waistlines, being attractive is about you as a person, your outlook,energy, attitude and confidence.

We are all unique and should embrace who we are, If someone doesnt find me attractive thats no issue at all, we cant tick everybodies boxes & vice versa.... you cant label that attraction ...but i do believe it goes way past someones physical looks.... Like a few have said we all suffer with these feelings Its just managing these conflicts and not letting it ruin the experience for you.
