I love the feel of candlewax on my fingers but am interested in finding out if any of you have tried this as a kink? I don't think the wax would be too intolerable. I think the warm sensation on my nips or clit would set me over the edge. Have you done it? Would you ?

There are lots of different types of wax you can try.

If you are new to it, look at soy candles as these have the lowest melt point... Down side is its quite messy to clean up.

Start off on areas like inner thigh and breast before moving to nipples and clit... Build up the anticipation

If you do enjoy it you can invest in proper bdsm candles and go for pretty patterns too

We do a lot of play with wax and fire (pics on a fet site lol) and its good fun, with enough colours you can get quite artistic as well but....

Always use candles made for BDSM, message for suppliers if you don't know any. They are made with wax (like Soya) that melts at a lower temperature and reduces the risk of burns, even more important if you are targeting the more sensitive body parts Also worth having an old sheet or even better one of the plasticised medical sheets to catch the drips and hardened bits you scrape off later!

Echo others here - don't use standard table candles for wax play, they melt too hot. You need BDSM candles that have a lower melt point - and always always drip a little on yourself first to assess the height from which to drip! On sensitive areas not below a foot - once you know the heights the fun to be had is amazing! Add anger colour and you can create beautiful wax peaks on nipples and across clits.

As to the poster who dripped down his urethra - hmm not a good idea!
