Em suits obviously.

If a guy turned up to a meet in a tracksuit he would be told to jog on.....

I'd never dream of turning up in sports wear.... I have standards as I know the ladies do!

Plymouth and Newcastle (sometimes)

I don't own a suit or any smart shoes. Best I can manage is some black jeans or a nice pair of cargo pants.

Certainly a suit or something smart for a meet

But then it depends on the guy and who he actually is as I’m very open minded with the type of person I meet

Would it not depend on the venue? Is smart casual unacceptable for a social in a coffee shop or bar?

Suits definitely. Sportswear implies the person couldn't be bothered to make an effort.

Also the people who abuse us in the street invariably wear tracksuits & trainers.

Suits, though just someone confident in what they wear (either sex) is a turn on x

Neither - I’d prefer something in the middle

"What you woman prefer? "

Are we to take it then that smart casual no longer exists?

We meant smart, as in good shirt or top, decent trousers and shoes and socks, not so called modern casual that looks like it just fell out of a skip.

Manchester

It would depend on the venue, but I would expect smart casual would be suitable for most. Definitely not sportswear!

Can I go for jeans and a jacket? A suit is very hot, but I wouldn't expect someone to wear that on a meet haha. As for gym gear....I'd suddenly, get a call, telling me there's been and emergency and I'm needed

Burnleyish (She/They)

In the right setting, on the right person, gym wear is very hot. Generally at the gym or out running though!

Same goes for any setting actually. On the right person in the right setting. Nom

I think a suit looks a bit stuffy

cahoots

Suits are way too formal and sports wear belongs in the gym.

Suit every single time, without question. Sportswear should only be worn in the gym, for sports activities etc and only ever then, not for anything other than that, and 100% definetly never ever for a Fab meet. Jeez, why would anyone do that
