Search and use age preference filters - same as you find any other denomination.

But to be honest, It's the Cougars who do the searching - for what they want - not the 'cub' lol

I've had the whole "older woman" experience, but mainly down to two reasons:

1) Luck.

2) There ain't many women younger than me on fab.

But, each time, they've come to me. So sit back, relax, send a wink here and let them come to you.

Also, social meetups are a great help. Lets you show a bit if maturity around older peers.

Its tough, but you're gonna have to keep your eye on the forums for any nights like that advertised, or possibly try and organise your own.

If you can drive maybe make the extra effort to get out to socials that are a little further than usual. But again, a lot of it boios down to luck and patience. Theres a plethora of men that they can choose from, so do what you can to stand out from the crowd and make them choose you.

I don't purposely look at ages in fact in don't search but what I can say is...

The " taken under their wing" is a complete turnoff for me

Especially if the next lines is about you being dominant!

I'd also like a guy to look smart

The closest big city to me is Darlington I can get there no worries but with me not driving I think that tends to put people off I may be wrong but sometimes from other experiences of chatting its got to that part about not driving and then they vanish lol..but I will do more looking for social events and I don't expect any woman to just drop everything for me or fulfil my fantasy as the connection and mutual feelings have to be respected but fingers crossed there are some like minded ladies out there hopefully I can catch their attention

Surely cougars by definition do their own searching otherwise they wouldn't be cougars?

I wouldn't meet any man who referred to me as a cougar/mature/older or one who assumed that because I am older I am more experienced ... I didn't discover how great sex can be until I was 51 (shit marriage) so a lot of young men have far more experience than I do!!

I've been on and off this site for a fair few years now and every single woman I've been fortunate enough to encounter and have fun with, has been older than me. A good majority of them a few decades ahead.

I'm attracted to and find myself constantly veering towards older women, for whatever reason. However, I never once tried to seek out a 'cougar'. I find fab very "label-intensive"; everyone's seeking out a 'BBC / cougar / milf / toyboy'. And if they are, fair enough, everyone's entitled to their own preferences.

This is just my penny's worth here, but I'd say seek out someone you could actually enjoy spending time with. If, when you carry out your search, narrow it down to a certain age range, fantastic. But like people have surely mentioned above, just because someone is - taking this thread as an example - of a certain age, it doesn't necessarily mean they will fit into that same category.

If you find someone who has a nice profile, you would be attracted to and you fit into their preferences, then send them a personalised message. You stand a significantly higher chance of getting a reply this way. I've worked it out the hard way. When I joined I was young, stupid, horny and too keen. Now I'm just slightly older! Haha. But in all seriousness, fab is filled with so many people, but a lot of people lose the personal touch by thinking of people as 'profiles'.

I realise I've probably ranted on waaaay too much and should have stopped about 10minutes ago, but I very rarely post in the forums, so fuck it I'm going hard!

Please don't take this in a patronising or negative way, I'm just here to input my opinion and experience. Hope you find a suitable match OP.

I like young guys and prefer them to seek me, as it helps them to stand out from the zillions of others. I'm not a label, I'm myself but I think guys have to focus on what they have to offer, rather than be on the take. So you still have to put the hard effort into profiling and selling yourself well - it's a competitive marketplace here for you guys.

Isn't the whole point of cougars that they are supposed to hunt you, not the other way round? Hence the big cat name.
