This often comes up in conversation with others so got me wondering, what is the average?

Do you play every week, once a month, does it vary?

Would you like to play more but can't due to work or other commiments.

We play about twice a year. Not loads but we prefer to get to know a couple and have the chemistry right. x

we would like to play more but thanks to timewasters and babysitters, work etc.... we don't manage as much as we like

Goot topic though, would be nice to see what is average and is it different for couples and singles?

Probably once/twice a year.

For us it's not about getting notches on bedposts, we like to look forward to it and if we did it more often it would most probably become so matter of fact and routine that we'd not be half as excited when the time came

Would love to play more but life has a habit of getting in the way!

It gets frustrating sometimes when we have to tell people sorry its going to be 5 or 6 weeks before we can play again.

We're sure that some think we are not being honest with them and thats even more frustrating because we are very genuine and usually want to play as much if not more than them!

We meet socially every 6 weeks or so, but "Play" meets every 2-3 months, hardly what we would describe as serial swingers lol.

As single & can accom, have had 16 in a week, but more selective with regulars now, so usually 3/4 a week.

Maybe every six weeks or so, depends on work patterns.

What pisses us off though as already mentioned-timewasters. Everyone's time is precious and when you make the effort to A, strike up a conversation over a long period of time, B arrange a meeting, after some serious negotiations with colleagues to get shift changes.

Go through the anticipation of the build up, the excitement etc, only for the other party to at the last minute, send a message saying they have changed their minds. Sometimes we wonder if its all worth the bother, still looking on the bright side, its amazing how much petrol we have saved over the years

Amen to that too, I thought I was very peculiar only wanting to see people here as an occasional distraction from real life!

Difficult as I have a full time and part time job so my time is limited to when I can play, i also have a son living with me. Recently though i have acquired

a very sexy man that i can see regularly so i guess meeting/playing is not so regular with a nice man to see

As others have said, depends on what's going on. If I'm having a quiet week, I might have two meets in a week but if I'm busy it might be one meet a month or so.

We tend to go to clubs more than we will meet people, so maybe a meet once at month. My OH doesnt work a 9-5 so its just easier to be a little spontaneous and go to a club when we have the time

these days, on average we only get the opportunity on play on 1 weekend a month and maybe a couple of midweek evenings ...

but rarely find a match to play with

... we've only had 4 meets this year (2 of those with the same guy in the space of a month)

I feel better now too!! We've probably played on average about 3 or 4 times a year. That is not counting seeing each other or when we play seperately. Like others have said, it can take a while to find people where we all like each other and then the last minute cancellations- them not us. It does make it easier now we can accomodate. Ms

EXACTLY the same here with us!!

would love to play more but its very difficult. When we add new friends on here and tell them it could be a while until we are able to meet, most of them keep asking and asking and asking to meet same day, this weekend ....

I think it might be the single guys who dont have it easy to get meetings anyway - can't really blame them...

We probably only manage something every 6 weeks or so. Work, social & family responsibilities make it difficult to manage more often - even if we wanted!

Our worry is that if we played more often it would loose some of its thrill. We have met people who swing every weekend & its almost a case of "just another orgy this weekend".

For us it stays fresh & exciting. A big part of the thrill is the anticipation leading up to one of our rare big night.

One other point worth mentioning is that in common with many others on the site we have unfortunately encountered a great many time wasters. The grinding effort of dealing with these people required to allow us to party more often is too much.

By partying only rarely we are able to sift through messages at a more leisurely rate aiming to ensure that when the planned night arrives we don't end up all dressed up with nowhere to go.

This also applies to us too, we do find the best meets though are with the ppl we have known a while, so always worth waiting for x

We are about 15 mins outa Pontypridd and we do go to Crawley in west sussex 2-3 times a year so get in touch !!

When we find a click that fits but on avrage 1s a monthish like lol

I've been on here about 9 months now, met 2 couples and 2 single guys, average of 1 every 2 months ish - I have better luck meeting guys on other sites where you could have a different guy every night of the week if you wanted.

I'm single and have no family commitments like a lot of couples, so have a lot of free time, so could play on a far more regular basis and would do so, if there were people willing, and also able to accommodate. I think that's the main barrier for a lot of people, singles and couples.

Hmm... I go to a club say twice a month (usually on my own because of sitter issues) I don't always play whilst there, but I do say 75% of the time. If we go as a couple I'd definitely expect to play - usually with single guys, but we have played with a couple of couples.

Other than that I occasionally have a mid week meet once or twice a month, I guess. I haven't the time for more and am heartened to see that people manage it less than us - will have to tell the other half that!
