There are a lot of threads kicking about at the moment about women who are in fact men, swinging couples who are either just men or don't really swing, and single men who just don't show.

When i was told about the site, and i can't for the life of me remember who told me now, they advised me only to bother with people who had photo verification.

So my question, finally, is this... Do you know any genuine couples or single females who don't have photo verification? And also have you ever found someone who did have photo verification who was a fake?

i never look at the photo verif, infact i met a guy lastnight who aint got it and we was taking bout it, he said he wouldnt do it cuz he would feel stupid takin a pic of himself holding the paper. lol

i think to see someone on webcam is enough proof for me.

well we have not been photo verified yet..for the simple fact we havent got round to it lol but we do have verifications we just choose not to show them, but we are very genuine!

i dnt know any couples without verification but i do know a mate who is on here and is very genuine , so far it has not been an issue although they aint been on long , and as it was me who told them about it (the site) im hoping they are given a warm welcome in the way most of us are .

We done the photo verification thing only because we done a few photos at the time when it was brought in, however most couple already had normal verifications for meets so didn’t really see the point, suppose for someone new to the site it’s a good start and may well help then on their way.

On the other point, we met a couple from here a while back who have no verifications, in fact we met them twice and they specifically asked us both times not to leave any, they’ve been on here a while and still have none and we’re pretty sure they’ve also met others, each to their own and all that.

All the meets I have had currently have no photo verification, mind you I met them before the system started on here, but still I know they are genuine and they haven't bothered to photo verify themselves since...

Think the problem is we have no way of proving the system to be good or bad, and we are trusting the judgement of who ever it is that checks them all. I don't know who those people are, so how do we know how good their judgement really is?

We did it....not for ourselves, because we know we are genuine, but so that other swingers know that we have at least tried to show our intentions are real and not fantasies(we can enact those with other genuine couples!!)

I'm not, but I don't see much point in proving I'm a single guy.

But I only really see it as use for couples and single women who are *new* to the site and without verifications.

Does not mean anything more than it may be the person in the picture, and they are of the sex or sexes they claim to be.

It’s really not much of an issue.

We're not photo verified and if someone doesn't wantto meet us on that basis then it's their loss. We don't feel we have to 'prove' ourselves to anyone as we have comments on our profile from a few people who have met us and if that isn't good enough then tough!

Couldn't agree more .... we have verifcations and offer to show ourselves on cam or ... after we know peeps a bit have a chat on the phone. BUT! it's not enough for some so we say hey .... it works for us and we don't force our ways onto anyone else so it's no skin off our nose lol debs xxx

True enough, nothing is fool proof, but that is I'm sure it’s looked for, not that many are good enough to do it well.

But at the end of the day it’s just another bit for some people to show if it’s appropriate to their profile.

You take you chances and see what comes of it. There’s no guarantees.

The real point I'm trying to make is that it's a small issue, and doesn't need to be debated to death.

we were on this site long before the new owners and we will probably still be here while they are dragging us into our coffins.

Mind you, I suppose I'm lucky, I'm fairly well known, but if someone choses to think we are not genuine because we are not photo verified.......

We didn't bother with verifications as we just take people as we find... but our hand was kinda forced after being accused of being fake in the forums one day.. Not that it matters as we still take little or no notice and more often than not find if theres to many we avoid anyway.. Sometimes its just too much info lol.

Interesting, I never photo verify, simply because I do not think it proves anything.

I know I am genuine and enjoy the lifestyle, that is what counts as far as I am concerned. If someone wants to prove this, there is MSN, which I think helps in filtering timewasters and pic collectors.

the photo varification thing... I am another who isn't and I don't really plan to either....

All that photo varification tells me is that you took a pic with a sign on it...

It doesn't tell me if you show up for meets....

It doesn't tell me if you are an arse...

If doesn't even tell me if your statistics are correct....are you the height you say you were? does it tell me that you don't smoke when that is what you have put down.....

the photo varification doesn't do anything the other sort does... so for me it is just another hoop for people to jump thru.....

Behind every screen name is a real person/persons? who created that profile (obviously).

Why not go one step further and prove its you by taking a photo with your screen names/names on?. It took us (and we aint camera or pc experts by any means) approximately 3 minutes to take a photo and upload it.

Everyone has thier own opinions (and rightly so) but is it really that difficult, to take a photo with a piece of paper with your screen name on it??

And the "not got round to it" or "why should we" excuse...........well pretty much sums it up.

Whether people agree or not - we think its a good idea and another step towards ing out timewasters.

As daft as it sounds - treat your profile like a CV........would you apply for a job with a blank one or lie on it, only to get found out later???

Our opinion anyhow, so please dont knock us for it, we do all we can to portray ourselves as genuine as possible and as honestly as we can...not much more we can do is there??

And yes we do use cams (to verify its us on the photo).

Good luck everyone anyhow .....since we verified ourselves, we have had enormous success in meeting nice people.

Whether people agree or not - we think its a good idea and another step towards ing out timewasters.

I'd bet my bottom dollar that there are just as many photo verified timewasters, as unverified.

Everyone has their own take on what a timewaster is.

Another thread was started by a couple who think that if someone choses to talk to them and then change their minds about talking to them, WITHOUT arranging a meet, are timewasters.

Some think that timewasters are those that choose not to reply to their initial message and others think it is someone who arranges a meet or agrees to a meet and then doesn't turn up.

Photo verification will never stop peoples perceptions being conflicting in the quest to deem what a time waster is.

WE are not photo verified because I have no intention of being a puppet with the strings being pulled by people I do not know personally.

However, we are genuine and 'real' and our verifications prove this, as well as the fact that we are extremely well known throughout the Midlands swinging scene.

So you deem us not worthy!

A photo verification doesn't matter much...even webcam can be cheat on...but I guess there are many reasons for individual decisions but if a person is genuine...just adding another verification to their profile wouldn't hurt...:D...even though it might not be true it helps ensure confidence for some...:D

We havent photo-verified as frankly we cant see the point of it, once you've got a few normal verifications. The pic wouldn't show our faces and would be no different to the pics already posted, and our other verifications show that we're for real anyway. But good luck to those who think it matters.

why would having a photo verification make you genuine? making you genuine surely means you do what you say on a pre arranged meet, even if thats just meet up for a cuppa and a chat if thats whats agreed on, photo, phone, cam verfications mean naff all, ok they may mean that its been proven there actually is a woman in this couple, or your pics are what you look like, does not make you genuine tho does it?

Am not photo veritficed but am real as many have seen me in chat room on cam and that's just me.

We have a system of cam verification for the people we will meet and chatting on msn, maybe a phone call. But its not easy meeting couples as many only see me and hubby has profile with verification from a mod.

Most people think I am single because I cam on my own and don't read profile

I've been on here I reckon 2 years now, and only just got photo-verified a couple of months back - sadly, people DO take photo verification seriously (even before it was brought in??)

I didn't have a single meet (off FabSwingers) prior to being photo verified, but once done then things picked up. I can only assume people were running searches with "include photo verification" and hence my profile being included in the results now?

Funny thing, I've been in the chat rooms loads and have no problem chatting on the phone - yet no one has once offered to WebCam/Phone verify me

But to be honest, what does a profile with loads of "Seen on webcam" but not one "met in person" suggest? Lol.

Fake webcams? How does that work? I don't have one, I base my decision on whether to meet someone on their profile first, then from messaging and speaking on the phone. I have to say I've not many anyone 'dodgy' yet from this site, perhaps I've been lucky, or maybe just a good judge of character?

It's computer...with a program or two they can link their msn webcam to another recorded webcam or something from webcam chat business...:D

One of the way to know is see their reaction during webcam...try asking them to do something a recorded cam won't do (like patting head or clapping hands).

Yeah...we base our decision on profiles too...but then a good profile is not a sure means that it is real...:D

We have no photo verification but have lots of verifications to prove we are real and we play. We tend to look at whats said not a pic if people are nice we want to meet em lol not look at a pic holding up a message lol
