You are right variety is the spice of life. To me that is what swinging is about. Some people take what they like and only stick to that, thats great for them but for me it sort of defeats the purpose of having sex with different people. If my partner is 5'6 black hair and brown eyes and curvy and I say that's the only persons i want to meet...what's the point?

For us it is also a colour contrast with Black and white. We find Asian skin colour is no different to MrsH when she has a sun tan so no real contrast.

Do you know i dont see men in black or white or brown or tan I just see them all as men no matter what there coul its person inside and if i like his face. fraid not, not tosh, had a couple who wanted to know who was coming to a groups session. they had stated "white" as a preference but said they wanted to know as they could not stand being in the same party as "blacks". this is defo racist and they deserve to be blocked. I certainly would not want to share my body with someone of this attitude.

I agree thats racist behaviour. But if your purely stating a preference for black, white, Asian, Chinese, thin, fat, younger, older etc. Then I don't believe your being racist, sizeist, ageist or any other ist lol. It's just what appeals to you.

What dictionary is it that tells you that racism includes peoples sexual preference?

We see all people as exaclty that, people, but it sounds like you have one huge chip on your shoulder if you think choosing who you have sex with or not as the case may be, equates to racism

Most say..."sorry, no black/white guys" etc....This is NOT racist!

In British English, Asian (for people) refers specifically to those from South Asia.

Why is it racist.. Interacial is not everybodys things.. one of my best friends is black, we go out from time to time, we chat about everything, but he knows that I would not ever touch him in a sexual way. Its no different to the people that say they want women of a certain size, or none smokers..

We put it on our profile because it saves us having to refuse each guy not White that contacts us. Its just a preference same as a lot of things.

I don't think it is a racist thing at all.... however I can see what you are kinda trying to say here and I don't think you should have have been flamed quite so much as you have....

is there a different between racism and a preference... absolutely!!! I wouldn't take away anyone's preferences from them....

However It does make me feel very very uneasy the way that people put it in there profiles at times..... and it does make me at time think if they actually want to play with me because of who I am as a person, or whether it is just the colour of my skin! which is an awful thought........ and I am sorry, unless you have live a day in my shoes you will never know what that feels like and it is not the nicest of feelings.....

so I don't block the people who put it in there profile.... however I do then to shy away from them, if people then contact me.. they probably have to work harder to gain my confidence, because in the back of my head is the thought "why?"

if other black guys want to play it up, and play up to the stereotypes then that is up to them, however it does nothing for me.

I'd rather be judged in the end for who I am, not on something I happen to be and something I have no control over......

It always seem a shame to us when people rule out a who group of people based on race. We prefer simply to judge anyone who contacts us on who they are (and what they look like, of course - there has to be some physical attraction) to see whether we fancy meeting them or not.

We went to a party the other night - our first - which was primarily aimed at black men and people who want to have fun with them. Now the main reason that we chose to go to that one as our first experience and not a "straight" swingers party was not based on the colour of the guys, but on the fact that we got a really good feeling from the organisers and members who we chatted to prior to attending. And did we fancy everyone there just because they were black? No. But we did fancy some...

I think that's spot on _abio, my partner is black but his skin colour is incidental to who he is, although he always makes a point of pointing it out to people we make contact with, just in case they haven't read out profile and it might create an embarrassing situation later..we've had it!

As to whether expressing the choice is racist or not, no I don't believe it is, people should be free to exercise their choices as they see fit, but the problem is there are racists in the swinging world just as there are in the real one, and they're unlikely to want to meet people of another race.

So all racists will express a racial preference, but not all people who do are racists..phew!

I get that we are all free to choose what we like. To me when some says they have a preference that means given the choice between A and B,(and they have a preference for A) they will most likely chose A, that doesn't mean they will never chose B. So when people say they have preference they are saying you have a slim chance. To me people use the word preference instead of "only" because they don't want to be labeled as racist. Being a “black” man (parents are from Central America). I’ve had a hard time with people who say they won’t sleep with me because the color of my skin but want to be my friend, they want to call me at 3 a.m. cause they are crying, they want to borrow something cause they are in a bind etc., I had to stop being friends (these friends were swingers) with them just on principle alone, it felt like I’m good enough for everything else but that.
