Is it just me or is there a large majority of male profiles that state they arey are 4'3" tall?

Why is it they can spend time putting in what they want, that they are nice guys and geniune, even how big their cock is, but seem to fail at the last hurdle of how tall they are? Personally I don't really fancy meeting someone shorter than me and as there are so many men on here, if that detail is not filled in I will likely ignore the message sent.

The other thing that annoys a little is when someone claims to be something and then can't actually even spell it. Recently I got a message off a guy who said he was 'inteligent'. I replied to his message (not trying to be funny) but helpful and put the error right, as it could easily have been a typo and he really wasn't bothered.

Don't these men know that women judge them by these things? Ok, so maybe couples don't as they have each other to keep things interesting, but single women on the whole, I would imagine like a bit of conversation and the idea of having a more rounded evening that includes good sex, so the idea of meeting someone who really doesn't care what they have on their profile as long as they get a f***, well... I might as well go to a nightclub!

I may be being harsh, but in this world of men, surely it's worth making a little more effort to get what you're looking for and not just dream about it?

Which brings me to my last gripe (for the moment) The dreaded 'cut n paste'!!!!! How many times have I been sent a message starting with, 'I'd love to meet you both' or 'I'm looking to play with a couple'. Ummm... my profile says I'm a single lady, so you're either saying I'm incredibly fat or telling me your fantasy that has nothing to do with me. Either way, seeya!

Oh I just thought of a ps.

Couples, I'm straight, so I don't meet couples. Why do I get so many messages off couples? If it was worded like, 'If you ever have a buddy you would like to meet us with, we would love to meet you', then yeah I could consider that, but why would a straight female want to meet a couple? I don't want to be scrutinized by someones wife, who at the end of it wants to hear that it wasn't as good as with her. Having said that the couple have probably just assumed I am bi anyway, which would result in an even worse scenario.

Can't people just put a little more attention to detail in?

There's a similar thread already running about spelling - seems people tend to divide into "It really doesn't bother me that much.." and "I know it shouldn't bother me that much but it really does.." (I fall into the latter category!).

As far as height, maybe these people are actually dwarves.. dyslexic dwarves..? Hmmm.. that's not big and it's not clever

Absolutely not, if you note I use the word 'I' and was referring to myself. To be honest my profile does state what I'm looking for and no where in it does it say I am looking for couples or wanting to entertain anyone physically other than single men. This is why I get annoyed, I certainly can't talk on behalf of anyone else and wouldn't try.

It took 20 seconds! lol. I think the problem was due to having written too much as the whole sentence didn't appear and for some reason it put in the gobble to gook and I hadn't noticed it. I'm glad it is sorted now though as I would have irrited myself if I had contacted me lol.

May I say the spirit of condescension is palpable in your original post.

It smacks of "Woo hoo I'm so desirable", and seems to suggest couples and single ladies are incapable of such horrendous crimes against swinging as not correctly filling in their height on a profile.

I'm amazed these people can live with themselves for perpetrating such horrors.

Which leads me nicely on to your own profile as I've spotted some things that could do with brushing up.

The first sentence would read better if punctuated with a semicolon and not the use of repeated commas. In addition the second paragraph has a spelling mistake. It is "outlook" and not "out look". Thats important.

The last paragraph should read "up to" and not "upto".

How do you expect to get any interest from busy single males with such glaring errors?

I think when you set up a profile the default height is set at 4'8" and if you don't change it it will appear as that on your profile. I've come across a few like that in messages and asked them if it was right or just not changed on the set up!!

Did you notice that I had spelt it right in the actual profile? Which was my point with regards to me fluffing up words I can spell. It's a shame though that only one point out of several is being looked at, but I guess it's the only one that can be related to my profile as a point of reference?

Absolutely not, but if you have been here for any length of time you would know that women do get a lot of attention. I'm not above myself enough to know that this isnt the real world. The facts are that most people on here are either men or women/couples looking for women, so for that reason I do get a lot of correspondance.

It is frustrating when you wade through the ones that you know and they should know (if they read my badly spelt profile) that they bear no relation to what I'm actually looking for.

Having had a very severe cognitive illness myself in the past and had to work very hard to function let alone type. I do value the effort people put in and for me it means I'm more likely to enjoy the company of someone who is going to have conversation and be fairly articulate.

I don't actually think I was being that unfair. I didn't mention punctuation or the use of text talk.

I also understsand that when you first join a site you may not notice all the areas to fill in (such as height), but surely once you have been on for a while this can be noted and rectified?

If I am the only one who gets a bit ticked off by the points raised then so be it. Has it been a waste of time? Am I bothered by the hen pecking? Not really! Maybe I might even get a few less waste of time messages, which will allow me to concentrate on the ones that I am interested in.

Not a lot I can do about it if the site keeps fluffing it up. There is obviously a maximum word usage on there, but there is no where indicating what it is, so looks like I'll have to reduce it or leave it blank. Maybe you would like to suggest one for me?

Attention to detail vs things things about swinging that get my goat:

1) Single females (playing behind a secret partners back) who complain about single men (who also have partners)

2) Couples who have a go at single (but married) men, but are more than happy to meet single (but married) females.

Both are on the basis of "Judge both, or judge neither".

3) People that think they're above the same rules that are imposed on single guys: Politeness, courtesy, asking permission, not being pushy, not being rude, showing up for meets or at least having good grace to contact and make alternative plans.

4) People demanding honesty but to being honest with others (had one lady saying such, but her profile said she was 39.. when in fact she was at least 5 years older. Another couple int heir 60's but claimed to be 40's). Another couple claimed the male to be 5'10 - I bumped into them at erotica, I'm 5'8 and could see the top of his head. Yet NO ONE had ever asked him "Wishful thinking?"

5) And ofcourse - arrogance. Yes, you don't meet single males, we get that. No need for the "You have nothing to offer!" rant, it smacks of:

i) You actually see your female halves as "bargaining chips" instead of human beings and partners in sexy crime called swinging.

ii) I can only hope you never split up - usually being the single male talking, you'd be royally screwed!

iii) Single males are humans as well (not all good fair enough) not some piece of excrement that can be thrown as if.

I work in the general field of advertising, of course I'd be only too happy to take a peek at your title.. obviously to do this correctly it would be prudent to thoroughly check the err.. goods before applying a fair and just description.

Or.. you could just cut out the (&) sign and it would work fine lol...
