just an observation ive noticed,there seems that the majority of women on this site are of the curvier or ample size, why is this, is this cos the average sized woman in england is a size 16? ive heard this somewhere before, just wondering.

the average size is apparently 16 in the uk and dress size measurements have not changed since the war although the average female body size has!

but at the end of the day im a person not a dress size !! xx

Womens sizes : Choices here range from :- Slim, Average, Curvy, Large, Ample, Fabulous ...

I think i've got them all. Those are NOT sizes. They are all open to interpretation .... some women see themselves as large and others would put them down as average. I've seen woman calling themselves curvy when I'd call them Jabba..... others say they are Curvy yet look stick thin to me.

I've never really counted all the men on here and found the percentage of large ones.. for some reason it's never occured to me to spend my time doing that.

Actually I would have thought (after about 18 months or more on site perving profiles) that the % of women over size 16 was in the minority.

It is also worth mentioning that those women above a size 16 seem to have more verifications for real meets than the slim size 8 women.

I can also confirm that the same sized women get more invites to play at Chameleons that the slimmer ones do.

Woo hoo Im gonna do a wee dance here cos Im now average having just slimmed down to a size 16 from a size 22.

But you know what I would still say Im bigger than average simply cos Im a short arse

I will always show any extra weight worse than someone who is taller.

I was once told women get bigger when content - they no longer feel they have to diet to within an inch of their lives, I have no idea how true this is cos I have seen some women who could eat for Scotland but stay slim, and I have seen women who hardly eat but stay larger.

I only say on my profile Im BBW cos I dont want anyone saying I lied, I know Im fat and I cant pretend anything other than that, but Im too lazy to do much about my weight issues

Oooooohhhh and Laine hun you can have all my extra bits - but its not as much fun clothes shopping when you are as small as me and my weight!!

Ach yer lovely as ye are Shona..... a full smile and a twinkle in anyones eye is a real turn on.... I have had problems in my life with clothes too, I'm 5' 6" which is a pretty average height but I take a size 8 in a skirt or trousers (used to be even thinner before the kids) and have a 36dd bust which requires a size 14 top... dresses used to be a real problem but now I thank fekk for stretchy clingy fabrics xxx

funny we was talking about this the other day at work, not how women on fab are bigger lol just how women are bigger now days, its because we are lazy, when my gran was young she used to have to do everything by hand, no hovers, no automatic washers, no cars, you have to scrub and walk, also portion sizes are much bigger today and people have more money for junk food and indeed there is more junk food about, when you think about how peoples lifes are much easier now days compaired to only 60/70 years ago theres no wonder we are getting bigger really

Are fat/big people happier, I dunno I can only speak from my own experience. I lost 4 and half stone that was gained through comfort eating at a traumatic time in my life. It helped on one hand, but then I would look in the mirror and detest what I saw. So am 5.9 and a half, my weight was distributed evenly. So I was just fat everywhere lol. I applaud the person who is happy in their own skin,content to be who they are whether it be skinny or fat, short or tall.

I work very very hard training to keep in shape for my chosen sport!

I am not anorexic or anything else!

R likes slim fit women with French (small) boobies....Its all a matter of taste and personal choice!!

I wouldent say there are anymore larger ladies on here than anywhere else. (Apart from Clee Sea Front! he he)

Live and let live, we choose to meet slim fit peeps cos thats what we like Simples.....

Each to thier own, women should not have to conform to what anyone else wants or thinks....Room for us all, Skinny Minnies, Muscle Gals, and BBWS....Thats the whole fun of the diversity of swinging!

im with you on this one, i used to be a size 22/24 and i hated the way i looked, i also gained weight thro comfort eating after i lost my son, then got into a catch 22, the more i ate, the bigger i got, the more i hated myself so i ate more, got bigger and hated myself even more, took me 16 year to stop hiding my grief behind food and i lost over 8 stone, am i happier? yes most definitely, i still want to loose more and im back to weight watchers after a gaining a bit back, bloody xmas lol but like pussy says i too applaud people who are happy with themselves, if you are great never change yourself for anyone else only do it if you want to

On another note, there still seems to be a snip of a worry about size/weight, since someone said "thank you for thinking I was a lot smaller" It would seem that being smaller is still something to wish for . . .?

No, i actually agree with you, i used to be a lot bigger than i am now, i lost over 8 stone a couple of years back and tho im still not the size 8 slim women, i am a lot slimmer than i used to be, when i was a size 20+ im not saying id meet anyone but because i didnt really feel i had the rights to turn others down based on their looks because of my own i did used to play with guys i wasnt really attracted to, i dont anymore, as i lost weight i gained confidance and now if i dont like someone i will not play with them, now im not saying all big women feel like i used to but im sure a lot do

to answer the op..

there is a fairly even mix of all body types here.

It may seem there are more bbw...and thats simply because they dont feel the need to hide away here or feel they are somehow inferior and need to stay in the background..(something some big fems feel when out socially).

This site caters to all tastes, and gives those who perhaps lack confidence, a platform on which to shine and basque in the adoration from many men who desire them as they are.

You just need to read some of the posts from some of the people in this thread to see why that may be.

Equally now that ive stoppped laughing from some of the posts who would seek to laugh at... or somehow poke fun and imply that bbw are less attractive than their slim counterparts..PMSL....

Body size does not = attractive..hell noooo

Ive seen some damn ugly fat birds and some damn ugly skinny birds..

However the real ugliness always comes from within and it never ceases to amaze me how such little bodies can contain so much vitriol!

Vol...fat bird...big boobs..pretty face..fucks like demon and thankful for it every day

this really upset me when i first read it...nn you might not remember me from sh/ss but i remember you...we both lost our weight around the same time...i always thought you to be an attractive confident woman and to think you felt you didnt have the right to go for your preferences because you were larger than average, makes me feel really sad

Another generalisation! I'm a size 24 and VERY particular about the people I meet. I've been told on more than one ocassion that I'm "up my own arse" for no other reason than some men assume a fat woman will sleep with anyone because (a) she has low self asteem, (b) glad for attention.

Actually im not happy being average or overweight as i see myself as. I may only be a size 14 but id be a whole lot happier if i didnt have the ugly mummy tummy, thunderous thighs and saddlebags. I personally dont like anyone overweight, especially in the 20st mark, but on the other hand i dont like too skinny as i like something to grab onto

But id love to know how to love myself and accept the horrible fat as part of me, learn to relax and accept that i cant change my body without giving up chocolate lol

Do what I did hun. Sounds daft but stand in front of a mirror and say 5 times I am great and sexy and no one is better than me

I refuse to give up crisps cos thats my one downfall

so what I did was realise I could either move more (which I didnt want to do) or learn to love myself

I pick one thing everyday - doesnt matter what it is, hair, make up, the way clothes sit on me just something I liked that day. The next day I couldnt pick the same thing I had to choose something else, til one day I realised I had picked everything

Now I know Im fanfuckingtastic cos I think so and tbh I dont care if people dont agree, cos there will always be someone who doesnt like me, same as there will always be someone I dont like.

I totally disagree, I'm a larger lady and I will only meet guys I'm attracted to. The above response intimates that larger ladies will fuck anything in trousers and be grateful for the fact. This is certainly not true in my case and I would take a guess in a lot of other cases also.

I couldn't agree more. I have a focussed idea of what I'm looking for from this site and do not just meet all and sundry. I also have respect for myself.

These generalisations are often based on what can be seen on profiles too but it's worth remembering that you only see what the member wants you to see... someone could have 2 verifications showing on their profile but could have a whole string of them hidden behind the scenes.
