Swinging sites vs dating sites

I have a few single friends that have used dating sites and one big one in particular,the story's I have heard from them are just as outrageous and sexual as some I hear from swinging sites lol I have looked at some profiles on this particular dating site and to be honest they're not that different from some iv seen on here

So I was wondering if any of the singles on here use both dating and swinging sites and do they think there is much difference between the two if you're just looking for nsa fun?

Mind you..... 2nd Birmingham meet I went to, there was two huge tables outside, full of swingers....

We carried on our own party in the hotel afterwards.

well i have use of both

an have 2 say the dating sites are far better as i have met a lot on their than on here

an have been on regular 2 the socials

being single i was able 2 meet a lot of folk on it n did had great success

I had a long term relationship with 1 for 5 years

Funny enough I use the "fishy" place.... but like here I like using the forums, had my fingers burnt by some very strange women so I don't use it as a dating site at all.......

saying that there are some very prudish people there.. so it is interesting to stir it up every so often.......

I have been on dating sites, sex/fetish sites and Fabswingers of course and in my view there are slight differences.

My experiences of dating sites (POF in particular) are not good. I did meet someone once who i got into a very painful relationship with and have found alot of the people on them are there when really it would be best if they weren't. Some have just got out of relationships and are on the rebound and so dating isn't a good idea when it obviously wouldn't last. Some are trying to hurt the people who have hurt them and so again will just end up hurting someone else and some are on dating sites with a lot of unresolved issues which need healing before they can genuinely date. There are genuine members, but i can't believe some of the people are real as their pictures are very model like and i do wonder why their finding it difficult to find someone in the 'real' world. I don't think many genuine people are on dating sites looking for just nsa fun because their there for a proper meaningful relationship. The exception could be POF which has an intimate meet option but i imagine 99% of them are not real and those that are have a million friends! Though saying that i did have emails from people telling me they had seen me on certain other sites!

Sex/fetish sites are alike to fab as i personally see little differences between them in the fact that both involve people looking to have sex with other people and it don't matter if thats 1-2-1, 3sums or group sex. One thing that i have found is that paying sites do tend to have a lot of false profiles. These range from timewasters, people using fake pictures, those that make arrangements but don't meet and those created by the site themselves; these are used to contact basic members who then have to pay to reply and is a great scam (apart from the latter i guess all sites have these problems). This is one good thing i like about fabswingers; you dont have to pay and so will not be scammed. One thing i will say about sex sites is that i have had alot more success in having meets and developing friendships than i have on here and people don't ignore you anywhere near as much as they do on here!

Fabswingers has the 'it's all free' going for it and i do have much amusement on the forums which is something missing from most other sites. Also it has a wide selection of people from all areas of the UK which i like and you have the freedom of contacting anyone within reason, though getting a reply is another matter. There is also the chance to make good friends on here even if sex is not in the equation as you have no time constraints due to your paid membership running out and can take your time getting to know someone. I mean no offence but in some ways i have found this site to not be as friendly as some other sites. I even recommended this site to two female friends that i had met from a paying sex site who joined. But after less than a month both left and were quite shocked at their experiences. On the other hand this site can also bring people together as i had a friend on here who has now left due to falling in love and who doesn't want to swing anymore!
