It seems to be happening more and more that we go to a club and then when we get home we have messages from people at the club saying hi we was at the club last night.

Why dont folks just say hi if they are interested rather than massaging later.

Agreed, I have found it joyful to get a couple of messages after the New Year party at Club Mystique and so pleased they had taken the time. My biggest problem is trying to remember the different names i.e real names, swing names and names used on different swing sites LOL

You often see people at clubs but don't put a face to a picture till you get home. Also if i go to a club its with someone and its pretty busy on the nights we go.

We get a lot of people contacting us after seeing us in Chameleons but generally find they didn't speak to us because they didn't fancy us and just wanted to say "hi" through fab.

Likewise though I wish they would say hi at the club so we can put faces to messages (more often than not the profile pictures give us no clue to who they were), we won't expect sex just because they say hello to us

i have had that so many times, messages from men saying they have seen me at a club and would i like to meet, and when i have messaged back asking who they are they say...oh i didnt talk to you but recognised you from being on cam

if people recognise you and want to meet you, as they obviously do or they wouldnt mail, why would they see you in a club and not at least say hi??

Ok we will put our hands up for that we have done that a few times now, we dont say hi mainly because were still both a little shy something we are working on. Sometimes though its because we are a little busy

The reason we started this thread was beacause we went to a club a while back and maybe 15 or 20 couples in the club and not 1 person played with anyone else (well not that we noticed anyway)

yet over the following few days we have had 3 couples say they would like to meet with us but never said a word at the time.

Must say if we see anyone we want to get to know we would at the very least have spoken to them on the night if at all possible.

as we own a club in derby we make it a point of speaking too all that come we think its polite and gives u chance too get too know each other and all play at our club xx

Know what you mean Steve, but is it not also a fault of the club owners who don't take the effort to get the know new customers and maybe introduce them round?

Possibly a problem at a big club like Chams, but in the old days at Liaisons the owner made sure people were introduced round.

At smaller clubs like Youtopia and A&Gs we try to speak to everyone there, if only to say hallo and introduce ourselves and our usernames from sites.

When we meet people at Chameleons that tell us it is thier first visit we as members introduce them to our friends, I have a bad habit of introducing them to everyone that walks past too.

I also try to say Hi to everyone at the club, I have a rule, you have to say Hi to me, you don't have to shag me but saying hi is just polite.

I find saying goodnight to people who are dressed and leaving is good too, as they are going thier defences are down and thier inner shy/self protection shield is down so they say goodnight back - and then they are gone.

But next time they are at the club they usually say Hi when they see me often not even remembering how they know me.

Of course Fridays and Saturday at Chams is always more difficult to get to know new people with upto 120 couples in the club but I do try to spot the ones sitting alone in the corner looking a little lost.
