Agree with this 🫣 I'm a nightmare for accepting, I just don't like accepting people I may never meet or don't communicate with. It's pointless to me so I just don't bother.

No chance. Are we friends? No we've never even spoke. Not even a hello first. Even if I get sent a friend request after a few messages, I'll leave it or just delete. Only if we've been speaking a while and we seem to be getting on will I think about accepting. I just think it's rude because they only want to see more pics like I'm not showing too much as it is.

If they have friends only pics themselves we usually wait until they are offline, accept the friends request, view the pics, and then unfriend.

So yeah, the requests themselves are no bother, but an unsolicited friends request having not chatted will still get people nowhere.

This is social media. We wouldn’t accept friend requests from strangers on other vanilla social media sites so there’s no difference here.

We only accept friend requests on here from people we have met or have been talking to for a long while, people whom we would consider friends.

We’ve get a lot of requests and they get ignored or if look interesting, accepted when off-line and then unfriended
