Can we all request a time wasters option on peoples profiles so we can flag them. I have wasted so much money on no shows and last minute cancellations from people on this site. Sick of it

I tend to agree. So many no shows that are for genuine reasons

More difficult to pin down time wasters who just chat then chicken out

Basically any negative feedback option freely available to members would be potentially abusable.

Probably the only thing you could really do is make a private note about it on your end for anyone who you feel has wasted your time--assuming you haven't blocked them.

I could be wrong but I think you can report them and if they get enough reports of being timewasters admin can look at the account.

Sorry to hear that you lost time and money due to this.

In the past, If someone has a genuine reason for not turning up that adds up i will give then a second chance if i have got to know them.

Do it again and there won’t be another.

I have limited time compared to when i was last on and if i arrange my schedule to meet and get let down i wouldn’t give them a second chance these days.

I hope your luck improves OP 🤞

The only way to do it would be to have some sort of system that marks meets from both sides, where you say you are meeting X and the day, then if something goes wrong could be flagged against that, as the two parties had agreed it before it took place.

But that just becomes complex, and also isn't impossible to be gamed.

If you were a site supporter you can put private notes on a profile that only you can see. For example "Timewaster, arranged to turn up but didn't, with no explanation".

Probably a fair few because their wife changed plans, or they just liked the chase of a bit on the side, but when the time came couldn't go through with it. That's just one set of reasons.

As for couples, could be that one side of the couple arranged it, then the other vito'd it, but who knows. It's not great, and the main reason we meet at clubs for a start at least, can go for a club wander and find some fun if you do get let down.

I've had people message me and ask to meet without chatting or give me a list of instructions of what I have to do to have any chance of fucking them.

They have called me a timewaster when I've refused so it would be very easy for people like that to tag me as one even though they were the ones contacting me and wasting their own time not reading my profile.

Because she over there slept with him and the other she slept with got jealous so called her out as a time waster.....

Our experience is the exact opposite. Every couple we have arranged to meet has turned up. Even the evenings resulting in no play have been enjoyable. We have been let down overly late in the day by 3 of the last 4 men we have arranged to meet. Fortunately, a couple we play with stepped in for a night at a hotel we had booked, resulting in a fantastic evening’s play.

It seems very common that the Man in a couple messages and arranges meets, but his partner has no idea. We're the same with club's. So many message first and say they're coming to say hello but don't. We'll always have a good night anyway.

Only arrange a public social as a first meet, that way you're not spending money on hotel rooms etc, if they don't turn up.

Also don't travel too far for those you've never met before.

I'm not currently meeting, but when I was, I wouldn't travel too far and only met for a drink in a coffee shop or bar first time I met someone.

Do report those who arrange to meet but don't turn up or let you know.

Naming and shaming is too open to abuse, if someone got a knock back they could do this out of spite.

fab provides the tools the rest is down to you and you only ... admin can do nothing about so called time wasters ..

if you keep attracting ''timewasters'' the n its time to look at yourself and why you keep attracting them ...

also bear in mind alot of couples profiles are 100% run by men who at are just as bad as the bad singles guys you'll find alot even have no wife and alot even pretend to be a woman ... we know a local couples profile on here where they split up at least 6 years ago and yet the guy is still running the account ...

you can use fab 100% to arrange a meet from start to finish without phone without cam without another app just fab and there are great people on here who are real use your filters block use you gut instinct if it seems to good to be true then it properly is no sex talk when messaging by that i mean porn talk make it clear what you want stick to your rules like i said lots of real people on here and easy to find

We found making sure to only chat to photo verified / those with verifications helps a lot. So rude if someone does a no-show!

I have no since calmed down. I agree it wouldn’t ideally work and there possibility for abusing the time waster button. It was only because this bloke was persistent with meeting and finally gave in, booking an air BnB for £180 last minute which I don’t mind doing. But for then to just make an obvious shit excuse as if I didn’t already explain I’ll be spending money on this meet with him 100% verifying he will show up and cancel last minute wasting my money. Wish I could just let others know to be careful. Also a little face book google search showed his whole

I always say OP that people that let people down like this have obviously never been let down themselves because anyone that has wouldn’t do it to anyone as they would know not alone how annoying it is but the fact it makes you feel like an idiot and mugged off. I’ve spent many a night alone out of pocket in a hotel room feeling like a fucking idiot and I wouldn’t be able to do it to anyone else. I put a positive spin on it in an attempt to make it better by thinking at least you know that they are a dickhead and therefore you wouldn’t of liked them anyway so they did you a favour. I know it doesn’t feel like that now. X not everybody is like that I can assure you x

Wouldn’t blame you at all, I’d be furious if I wasted all that money and my time. Probably not worth outing him to his family though as they aren’t to blame and it could get messy.
