I would hope people would, if they're sleeping with other people. Part of responsible sexual health is making sure you inform anyone else you've been with if there's something they need to know in order to make informed decisions about their own activity, and that includes the risk of having gotten an STI.

It's not a conversation anyone particularly wants to have, I'm sure, but I'd feel like an absolute monster if I kept something like that from people who needed to know it.

She got an sti and posted it all over her status.

We don't play bare, we test regularly and often just to make sure.

We also leave time between meets to test in so we can trace it back should we get something.

It's not a conversation we would look forward to but would have it should the need arise

Luckily I never have. But before meeting people more often than not I ask when they have been tested last. But the surprising amount who get offended by the idea is shocking. Some saying they always use protection but won't with me...yeah sure that means you won't with others. Saying they don't meet anyone yet trying to meet me. Saying only met the the same person for years but how do you know that person who isn't in a relationship isn't sleeping around? I know asking people about getting checked they can just as easy lie. But atleast if they say they have some kind of precautions in place it's better than nothing.

Why not? It's not all that long since we were all willingly testing for covid and advising anyone we'd been in contact with it we were positive.
