"Anyone else experience this. I wink a guy who fits what we are looking for, he winks back.I say hi then he starts a brief chat (yesterday). Because I didn't respond (was out all day) he sends second and then 3rd reply, last saying 'Oh well I'll move on' I try to explain to find I'm blocked!! What is the matter with some people? He looked ideal and his veris supported...but with that attitude we wouldnt have made it passed the social." Lucky escape, he sounds like a right one. Imagine how bad he'd be if you'd actually met. Constantly wanting replies.

"I wouldn't say attitude but why start a conversation if you're to busy to reply why not say love to chat when got time but I'd certainly wouldn't block straight away." If you read it properly, they only winked at the guy rather than messaged him first, and only after he winked back, they had a chat. Maybe they did not expect him to wink that soon? Also, you know there is this little holiday called Christmas that takes people's time away from online, yes? But even if it wasn't holidays time, we are allowed not be online or not reply immediately. This is not instant messaging service.

"Taking what you have posted at face value, respectfully I disagree with you and the rest of replies. You said he was ideal for you as a couple. Have you considered that you might not be what he is looking for, or he was not too interested in you two and just responded to you out of politeness and see where things could go? Then you start with a Hi after he winks back. How many complains in the forums calling lazy to single men who message with just a Hi. If you are interested in him and he was ideal, just a wink and a Hi seems low effort. Then when he puts some effort and starts a chat, he receives no reply the whole day. He only had a wink and a Hi from you and then... radio silence. Lol at it from his point of view. I think he was entitled to block. Women and couples here block constantly for far less than that. Perhaps next time wait until you have time to drink to guys you really like, maybe don't start a conversation if you don't have the time to respond, and at least send a quick message saying "busy now will respond tomorrow"." ,,, thats a fair point

" nope I've read it and still think lazy if it was a single guy he would get roasted for just saying hi then they start a conversation but don't reply because too busy again had it been a single guy he would have been blocked and lambasted on here I understand wink back but don't start a conversation if no time to reply in the day.

Really??? People have lives and unexpected events can intervene which might delay your ability to engage further. Good grief it was only a few hours.

" Need to kiss a few "frogs" ladies to change this." Errr… no. No-one “needs” to do this to placate anyone else. Just as no-one should really complain about others attitude when they’ve been explicitly clear
