Publically traded entity?

Why do people put all that nonsense in their profiles saying that FabSwingers is a publically traded entity, when it really isn't?

Any one of us can check them out on Companies House for free. The company name is listed at the bottom of many of the pages on this site. Their accounts can be viewed, and it is clearly stated that it is a private company limited by shares.

And even if it was a public company, so what?

We've always found it odd that people worry about this particularly on this site when you're literally putting all your pics up for anyone to see anyway

Because people sometimes, are idiots. They think that disclaimer can over write the T&C's they agreed too when they signed up.

So newbies arrive on the site, they see it on others profile and think it holds weight so copy it onto there’s. A podcast talked about Sydney university and it’s research and how this started.

They couldn’t find out if they’d ever done research or what it was in! It’s just a meme that’s occurred and people new to this lifestyle are susceptible to it as it plays into they’re fears!
