Hi, going with GF to LAM on Jan 8th. Is the after party worth attending (website implies anything sexual is forbidden)? Or can anyone recommend somewhere we can go after LAM for a little more fun?

Thanks.

The after party is likely worth a look if you're into BDSM play etc etc

If you're looking for full sex then that is unlikely to be allowed at the venue, so you'd be better off looking for some where else.

I don't know the London clubs so can't help on that front I'm afraid.

Because of its licence, no nudity or sexual activity is allowed. Depending on your likes that can be fine, or not.

As for other venues, there are several around London, but again it depends what you are looking for. Kink or sexual activity.

Nudity may be permitted while playing, likely worth dropping them a line and asking

Not all that North of North London

If you search on line LAM has a huge 30+ document with all its many rules...

Nudity isn't allowed. Sex isn't allowed. BDSM play is allowed. This is at the request of the venue.

For all of his many faults Cosmic1 (the organiser of LAM) does like a rule and does like to enforce it so if you ignore the rules you'll be out.

Personally, I'd recommend BBB as an event and for an after party rather than LAM

Thanks for the advice. Looks like we'll have to investigate BBB

I've been to the market a couple of times a few years back and for that side of things can definitely recommend it. If it's still on a similar scale to when I went there will be loads of choice of sellers.

I did play at the after-party once. As others have stated it's no nudity or sex but BDSM wear is allowed.

Personally I didn't like the layout of the area they used for the after party. Felt there were too many people crowding round the dungeon area and too many if them were trying to interact with those playing.

Things may well have changed though as it was pre pandemic when I last went

We’re heading to LAM on Sunday. We’re using it as a social event although may have the lush in…

If anyone does decide to go please say hi!

I love the BBB (Birmingham bizarre bazaar) but never been to Aftermath (the after party). Looked at the rules, nudity is fine, kink is fine but exchange of bodily fluids (sex) is not.

But I don't know how strict they are.

London

The limits on nudity and sex are set by the venue and the fact we do not hold a SEV license.

The rules are provided for transparency and to provide a clear framework for those who wish to attend and are helpful to those who are neurodiverse. The initial draft was requested as a way to help ensure its always fun but sadly so people kind follow the "be an adult part" and sometimes we have to ban people for malicious behaviour and sometimes criminal behaviour.

If you want to find out more about the social, educational, shopping or party aspect of the event there is plenty of additional information on the website.

We welcome all kink+ adult.
