This is the first time I've seen something posted on the Internet about the Commonwealth Games that hasn't immediately descended into loads of irrationally angry Brummys ranting about traffic/roadworks/public transport/waste of money/etc etc etc

To be fair, most of us in London said similar in 2012 but it actually went pretty well!

Yes I think the cynicism only ended with the opening ceremony and them London really embraced it
