We had a message once from a couple asking me, Nilly to meet alone, I politely said no thanks we don't meet alone to be called a "f*****g time wasting idiot " and then blocked us....that is one of many sadly... easier to just delete a message

It's the desperados at their best, i love the fact that this guy one minute wants to get incredibly personal with you to all of a sudden wouldn't go near you.

Part of the instashag crew it seems.

Rather quick to reply with abuse was he? So basically so used to rejection his abusive response is almost a reflex.

You’re still you, he’s an angry and unhappy man in a world of rejection. Just leave him to live that life.

Obviously you know its not true as why would he have message you in the first place. At least you were polite with a reply, even if its not for you. Manners cost nothing.

You can still block them...when it comes up saying you can't see their profile, go to Menu (top right) and the block option is there xxx

You can block them even if they have blocked you.

It's a daily occurance and why FAB suggest in the FAQs that it's best not to reply if your not interested

It's amazing how your the object of their attraction one minute and they wouldn't touch you with a barge poll when you say no

I was once told I should count myself lucky they'd even considered me as he had lowered his standards to message me

Just make sure you block them back and then move on, you can do that from the messages, then 3 little lines at the top of the page

I am very ruthless now. If I send "thankyou. sorry not interested" message. Once the message has been read, I block very quickly before a return response can be sent. Works for me. A few slip do through. But I just block and delete.

Then I move on with the rest of my day.

Best of luck to you xx

If I send a introduction message to someone I always tag on the end - “ if I sound of interest get back to me but if not just hit delete and block so I know you are not”.

We live in an age of no accountability. People rage and act like morons behind the safety of their keyboards and are allowed to continue because site owners, admins etc - and I’m including social media in this, don’t want to react in case it infringes ‘freedom of speech’ and advertising revenue.

It’s wrong they should be named and shamed!

I just cannot understand these people and why they react like this.

If someone has taken the time to reply to me, to politely say no thank you, the least I can do is thank them for the reply.

If I send a message and get a “ no thank you “

I just reply and say thanks for taking the time to reply to me.

No need for any insults.

That’s why sometimes it’s hard to get past first base with a chat with decent folk.. just take rejection with a pinch of salt and I move on

It never bothers me when they get abusive... I just think of all the fun they're NOT getting! I see it as a sign of their frustration at never getting a meet

Oh well, same old stories. Equally irritating rather than abusive are fake profiles. I get an instant invite to join a couple in a hotel for fun on first message. No pics. Dry content. Sure! Not even a reply!

Fragile egos. Don't like being told no and throw their toys out of the pram.

My most recent one was a guy who wanted to "tribute" me, and when I politely declined, he came back with something like no worries, you're a fucking munter anyway.

Doesn't bother me. I just don't reply anymore, but you do worry sometimes about if they say these things to someone who already has low self-esteem, the kind of damage they can do.
