I think "tacky" is part of the attraction but each to their own.

I've seen some great pics from posters over the years, just not enough though....

I've done it but with positive words that my husband uses to describe me rather than the usual degrading words you usually see.

I’ve got to admit to not being a fan of it but then reading this, I think I realised that it was more to do with the actual words that tend to get used rather the method.

I never kink shame but the degradation stuff (towards either party) just doesn’t work for me

I never suggested that the wording be degrading. The term mentioned was "suggestive" which is completely different.
