What do they do it for?

This has happened several times: someone sends a Friend request. Sure, ok, the one picture looks fine, so accept.

And they've deleted their profile. Now, I'm not talking about Saturday night d*unks who sobered-up and lost their Dutch courage. 3pm on a weekday afternoon, I discovered just now going through the day's 'business.'

Why do they do it? What's the point?

Happens all the time to me.

It would appear I'm attractive in the moment and then the moment fades (I'm suspecting post orgasm).

"Why do they do it? What's the point?"

To look at your private photos.

Try hiding your private pictures and see the friends requests dwindle to practically zero.

Pic hunters. To see if there’s anything juicy?

They only join whilst the wife’s at work or out and delete their profiles so they don’t get caught?

Any number of reasons. We never accept random requests. It’s not like we’ve spoken or have a scooby who they are.

Personally I never, ever accept a friend request unless I've met the person socially

that’s what we do. It’s great fun, seen some good fun pics. If their stupid enough not to read the profile, their fare game.

I’ve had people wink at me, then hide their account. Afterwards I start to chat to them when they come back on and ask me what I’m effing talking about then hide their account again. This person was 420 friendly. Lesson learnt.

Why would you add a person without getting to know them

Most people only add people as friends once they have gotten to know each other better or have met in person

I think you're on the money there. Much more fun being turned on on a Wednesday than d*unk and desperate on Saturday night after the pub. A cum and pass out situation.

Quite a lot of "I'm not reading this but I'm going to reply anyway." We don't add them to the friends list. We check who they are by clicking on their profile. Which has been deleted.

That's what we can't figure out - they don't get a new 'friend,' they don't get to see private pictures....we were asking what people DO actually get out of asking to be added to the Friends zone then deleting their entire account hours later. It makes no sense. Unless they actually are druk at 11am...

There is no point.

Not everyone leaves the site of their own accord though. Sometimes they have a helping hand from Admin.
