Wondering if the height thing is an issue

I do understand it's a preference thing but just wondering how much it effects finding someone attractive or not attractive (as I'm on the shorter side I dont care but I know it's a deal breaker for some)

Not sure if it's that or just something else entirely

Any advice would be helpful (besides get taller =} )

As a fellow shorty, of course this is a big thing for some women, you know that. Many women want a man taller than them, and some it doesn't matter to. Just like guys may not want a taller or heavier woman than themselves.

Humans come in all shapes and sizes and there are people out there that will appreciate your configuration.

It’s a deal breaker for me (Vixen) and I openly admit it in our profile but at nearly 6ft I’m pretty tall for a girl and like a man that’s about my height or taller.

Some positions are not easy with a tall girl/short man.

I think most girls would say so long as they are teller than me I don’t mind.....I know I limit myself being so tall but I’m ok with that.

OP I wouldn’t say there is anything you can do, unless it states on someone’s profile that they want someone height specific for example. X

No specific preference here really. My first proper boyfriend was 6ft 7in. Had a couple of boyfriends my height or a smidge taller, so around 5ft 6 and married a guy at 6ft 4. Definitely more about other physical and intellectual attributes for me. Everyone is taller than me now anyway

So a 6ft3 man may on average earn £4500 more than a 5ft6 man.

Girls want to be with something that looks apealling. Or that you look like dolls that seem to match.

The problem with this is girls who are my height or shorter tend to go for me as they think we match up proportion wise. Unfortunately I have a pretty above average tool for my hieght and it normally cuases problems in the bedroom as it hits the cervix and starts to hurt them after a couple rounds.

I am always told that this is unexpected and it's a hard paradox to break out of.

I like girls that are slightly taller for this reason however its hard as like many of you girls, women want a man to look up to.

My only hope is that I can find taller women who aren't shallow or sizest and are willing to look past they're hieght requirements.

I used to only consider men 6'+ in my younger days - and there are some distinct advantages to having a bigger guy, who can pick you up.

I have since found a liking for guys of a similar barefoot height, which opens up a few other, otherwise unfeasible scenarios.

Its kind of the opposite for me. Too tall is an issue. 3sums are awkward enough with all the limbs to navigate but add in a huge height difference and it's just hell.

I never trust friend's judgement of men... Last date my friend tried to set me up with a guy who was probably only 5 ft 8 - 9 inches. I found out his pedo tendancies... Yuck.. Plus so arrogant and boring.. She told me he was nice as well and a good catch.. Blah

Ive been with both tall men and shorter men. Ive had good and bad experiences with both.

Being a tall lady, and on the fuller figured side i much prefer taller, stockier men. Of course personality and facial attraction play a factor but thats my personal preference.

As others have said above focus on those for whom height isnt an issue.

I get the people saying "focus on such and such" but that's the tricky part, you dont know who does unless specified but some DEFINITELY do but will never mention it so it's hard to tell when to bother trying is all =)

All but 1 or my ex girlfriends have been taller than me so I have experience on both sides which is why I was curious about some of the more obscure reasoning (most link height to masculinity which makes sense in a basic way)

I'll admit I used to go for tall guys although it did cause some problems in some positions but then again not all tall guys have long legs. I'm with a shorter guy now and it's amazing !! Sure, he has tales of rejection over height. We put what we think is a clear 'no tall guys' but we get a LOT of messages from tall men, many of whom mention it in their message. Height guarantees NOTHING but height, doesn't make them nice people OR good at sex
