I met a woman, turned out her husband was home and they had a hidden camera and when I confronted her she blocked me, worst bit is this is second time this has happened! Am i unlucky or is this a regular occurrence on here? Filming without consent? I think its just creepy tbh

This is shocking. I have never heard of this being done, so I hope it's not a regular thing. Mind you I meet at clubs now, so feel safe. Report to admin. And maybe meet at clubs or hotels in future.

Don't let it put you off .

Should of known i'd get a lot of people calling bullshit. Look end of the day it happened, twice only reason I noticed this time was because i went to look at the "clock" at the side of their bed and noticed it had a small camera in the corner! This is illegal and they should be reported, but they’re probably counting on you not wanting to discuss your private life in public. If you still have their message details, can they be reported to Fab? Not sure how it works when you’re blocked xx

It’s still worth it to let Fab know that people are doing this. If nothing else, if they are blocked, they will be inconvenienced and lose their veris, so have to start again. Should have took the camera or the sd card, and took it to the police.

Up to you what steps you take next. Be safe xx

Thats horrible and breaches article 8 of human rights.

You obviously know where she lives.. i would write one letter send it recorded .. stating you did not and do not consent. It breaches your rights. And if not destroyed in any format in 12 hrs on receipt you will be informing police and seeking further legal advice ..ask to unblock you for 12hrs and send you a private message of confirmation. If this is not done report to police

Whether they do or dont you will never know but could be enough

Sorry to be pedantic but I think the human rights act only applies where potential breaches are due to the actions of statutory bodies

It actually is. Recently a model I know won her case against a photographer she took to court for recording her naked without her consent. He faces crown court as the magistrates court deems it too serious for them to pass sentence. He used a hidden pen camera. She spotted the camera so the footage wasn’t seen by anyone else, but he still faces prison xx

You say there was a hidden camera, but was it filming? It could have been innocently there for their own sessions rather than your meet. The fact you are blocked suggests otherwise, you should name the profile to warn others.

If you report to the police and they deny making a recording, can you prove otherwise?

How much jurisdiction would the FBI have in Britain over a secretly recorded FAB meet? Sadly unless he took the apparatus or they stupidly kept/uploaded the recording, there’s probably not much he can do to prove it xx

Should anyone believe they have had their privacy violated they absolutely should report it to the police and let the cps decide whether or not to prosecute.

The fab community should be aware that there is a risk of secret recordings every time they go on a meet since we live in a world where a camera can be very easily hidden.

Fabbers should announce while arranging a meet if they intend to record events. This gives everyone an opportunity to decide what and how that will happen and who will subsequently hold the rights to publish on fab or anywhere else, or indeed publish it at all. That would cover everyone with any posthumous complaints. It is up to the individuals as to how in depth they get, but trust is as heavily involved in this as any other aspect of Fab life.

Expressed permission for recording can come in many ways you might not have considered, such as simple signage on the wall of someone's home. That doesn't give them any rights to publish your identity, but what you do whilst being recorded is up to you.

We read your post OP and feel so much for you. We do hope you’re ok and manage to gather some strength from the community here.

We admit we like videoing my solo meets for Mr P. We live stream a lot. Even though Mr P does have the fantasy of what has happened to you- we would never do this, as we can foresee the effects it would have.

The ONLY way for videos to be done is to clearly state that is what will happen. Every meet we have, the gentleman is forewarned and a lot of them enjoy it.

It is a shame this didn’t happen for you. As they still could have played their fantasy, but with everyone in full consent- which is what we all what to live by - yes?

As I say- I am sorry you have had this negative experience. Just remember- not all of us are like that and when you feel stronger - try to remember that

Sending peace

Mrs P xxx

It happened to me and when I sought advice I was basically told that there was no proof that I hadn't agreed to it being filmed.

I only found out as the guy turned into a bit of a knobber so I blocked him on here and few weeks later I assume trying to get my attention, he sent me via WhatsApp a vid clip of about 30 secs of various snippets from the 6 or so hours we spent playing.

I could only have him for it if he published it anywhere without my consent How would I know until it was too late??

If he had I would have had something to go to the police with. He just quietly sent the clip and acted like it was completely normal and ok.

The convo as such meant there was nothing I could do about it as he didn't admit to doing it against my wishes

I have seen one couple here advertise gangbang type meets at their home. The female is on adultwolk as well for escorting and webcam services.

Maybe all above board but I wouldn't want the risk of the fab meet being secretly filmed and streamed on the other side.

I work in the security systems industry. So ive seen all types of security/Industrial spy & nanny cams.If you know what your looking for you will see how common they are.Ive seen a fare few pictures on here with sc,s in the background. So unfortunately it's not just you that has been stung. The problem is Secret cams are really cheap now

to buy with hd and have flooded the market on a very well known auction site. You can get alarms pens even wall chargers ect for less than £10.To counter act this they are now also selling cheap Chinese detection device's that are small enough to fit in your pocket that will alert you to the presence of sc,s.View the selection in that auction site and you will see it's not as uncommon as you would think to spot the same device's in the background on some of the pictures on here.

Last year I was approached my a fab couple with a very generic looking message asking if I’d like to play with the female when she visited London while her husband watched online. They were unwilling to give me details of which software they were planning to use, or allow me to set up my laptop for the stream so that I could limit the number of viewers. I declined after a handful of messages as it sounded really shady, and wondered whether other guys where receiving the same message or how legit it really was.

I don't think they would do much here.

Unless they post it online or try to threaten you with it as you have met someone on a sex site.

You have gone to there house and consented to having sex with them.

Its going be your word against there's that you had knowledge that it was being filmed.

Unfortunately as soon as they know you meet on a sex site you tend to lose your innocence in the eye's of the law.

Hidden cameras are bad. We like taking pics and are very up-front, always asking if people are OK with pictures. Some are, but others say absolutely not. We wouldn't think of concealed cameras.

You are very wrong. The police handle situations like this all the time with tact and discretion.

To the OP, ignore silly posts like this, report the profile to fab, you can still do this even though they have blocked you, either do this via one of their messages or top right hand corner, drop down menu. Contact police, they can advise as the the best course of action. Even if you don't want to pursue it at this point, you still have it logged. This will also help to build a case against them if others make a complaint. Good luck with whatever you choose to do. They had no right to do this to you. X

It’s happened to me too. Sorry it’s happened to you mate. The fact that you’ve told her you noticed should be enough to scare them into deleting all footage. Make a note of their address for future use - and maybe even post an anonymous letter threatening legal action unless they delete all hidden camera footage they’ve taken.

"Seek legal advice OP.....

The police will take these matters seriously. I used to film meets but was up front about it. "

You would need to record the other person/s agreeing to that and maybe even get it in writing as telling the police you told them in advance you were filming isn’t actual proof you got consent . The whole thing is a minefield that the Police would not want to get involved in without good evidence but one thing for sure (as someone already mentioned earlier) is they would do far more investigation if a woman complained to them about secret filming rather than a man complaining about the same thing.

The problem with that is it means anybody on Fab with any type of grudge against anyone else could report anybody else for the same thing and get them banned . It usually comes down to one persons word against another so if reporting somebody without proof or a clear audit trail ( such as abusive messages etc ) woulld get people banned it would be open season for total anarchy on here.

Not if it worked on a strike system. If more than one person reports the same thing then believe that it’s true (admin are able to review messages sent between the parties so they can tell if a meet was arranged)

Ignore those that don't believe. I believe you and I'm quite alarmed.

So my first question is who was it? feel free to name and shame but primarily warn others.

On the legals: I suggest you check what I'm saying here.

Because the camera is in their private property it is unlikely to be a criminal offence.

However because they did not warn you of the hidden camera recording the commit a civil offence.

What this means is that you can sue them. And I really would.

You can actually send them a pre action protocol letter (which if contact me I will help you draft). Instructing that you are seeking damages and an injunction preventing public disclosure of any recording of yourself. Or get a solicitor to write one. A letter won't cost the earth. If you sue. They pay your costs.

But look into it. Google UK law torts.

Anyone thinking of doing this. It's FUCKING DISGUSTING!!! And I for one would sue you for the shirt on your back and your shitty shoes.

Good luck with it.

Where was this hidden camera you mention? Was there a recording made?

Persuing the above with absolutely no knowledge firstly that there was an image captured (the camera was on), secondly, whether the image was then streamed or recorded and in fact if there Was an offence committed. I think there on in to find a solicitor, without great expense, to support any action you wanted to take based on limited, if any, evidence would be a struggle! Crack on though! Maybe the UK is different, but the police need a search warrant to go into someone’s home to seize equipment in the USA.....

I remember an occasion, when I invited a guy to my place, he became anxious about my laptop.

The screen was upright and bright - I had been on Fab moments before he knocked on door.

"It's not a camera, is it?" he asked.

Well, it does have a camera, like all laptops, I guess, but no, it was not switched on.

I quickly closed the lid to assure him nothing underhand was happening.

Lesson learned for the next time.

That said, on other occasions I have met guys who have asked if I'd like to webcam our sex via the chat-rooms here.

Not really my thing.

To all you armchair barristers and police out there, one small detail is missing, as someone has already pointed out, EVIDENCE!!!! Without the recording it's one word against other, the DPP wouldnt even take it to court. The police would most likely not even have a case to submit to the DPP. I'm afraid. Lesson learnt, have a quick scan for the obvious devices and the tell tale sign of a small red dot in something innocuous. Did I hear, there's more than one way to skin a cat!

The police officer who I spoke to asked for his details and address etc and said himself that it would be on file in the event that someone else reported him so I guess he was lying to me then. I can only go by what I was told by the officer and they took it seriously, about an hour after reporting it on 101 they had called back to book an appointment. Someone asked why he wasn’t arrested - because I didn’t have evidence. They were willing to talk to him though about this but I didn’t pursue it. Just the fact I reported it was enough for me at that point. I communicated this to him as well that I had reported it.

So you reported it with no evidence and they never cautioned him but will be kept on file ! I doubt that very much as I’m sure it’s illegal as otherwise anyone could report somebody but without evidence Fook all can be done just your word against theirs.

What about if you give your consent during a meet for part of it to be filmed ... do you then automatically give up any rights to that material (assuming it’s on the other person’s phone) and can the other person legally do what they like with it, in theory?

I thought oh no its a scam, but the husband insisted it was just a fantasy and no money would change hands.. sex for money is a red line for me.

I met him in a pub car part 100 yards from their house... he told me, she thinks she is being paid, but actually its the husband that is paying her. He said he would be watching downstairs from a hidden camera. It all went well, but I hope he wasn't recording it, or if he was, it would just be for their private collection.

Checked the card in it and he had been recording his gf as well , he recorded himself breaking up with her and her begging him to stay

He had the nerve to ask for it back too

I put it in the oven and cooked it n gave it back

"This sort of happened to me recently. Idiot tried to WhatsApp video his friends while fucking me doggy and I lost my cool on him AND reported it to the police just so it was on record. If he tries that shit on anyone else again or records without consent and the person reports it then boom, his name will already be on their systems. I did get a lecture though from the police for being on Fab . I don’t mind taking videos but there must be consent all the time.

But it won’t be on record! If he wasn’t arrested or cautioned! I’m assuming he wasn’t as yhere was no evidence?

They can close the case without investigation but reopen it at another time if they get more evidence (like say someone finds a vid of her on snapchat, or someone makes a predatory sexual complaint). So yes they could keep the information on file, legally.

Also anyone can request information kept on file about them if they want to.

Might not seem fair but if you make a complaint to the police and it's unfounded then you could also be prosecuted for that.

"if someone records me without me knowing then i would be seeking advice from the police

Recording someone without their knowledge is not illegal. Using the recording showing to any other person or in any format is illegal"

Of course it’s illegal. It’s called voyeurism and comes under the sexual offences act.

Thank you, what I did have as evidence and still have are messages from him admitting to doing this and him also apologising (eventually). All of which I will keep.

Well a bit awkward for sure . Arguably though if you agree to a meet at someone's house it is something that can happen . You can't exactly pop round and search the rooms beforehand .So you maybe have to run the risk of it happening anywhere you are not familiar with .

It could be why a lot of people prefer meeting at clubs ( no camera rule) On the plus side as unpleasant or invasive as all this feels maybe it was part of the reason you were invited . They just didn't tell you and that might have altered your position on going .

It is clearly a voyeur thing so perhaps hubby or partner was too embarrassed to be in the room at same time ?

Or could it be a Don challenge ? We see these quite often don't we ?

When all said and done it's doubtful you will end up in the papers or on the net ...Also would this not be an incredibly difficult thing to put up a good argument against if you complained ? How do you prove you did not give permission if someone says you did ?

Also I believe recording someone is not illegal as such but broadcasting it to others without all parties permission is?

Maybe they might unblock you ? and you could talk about it and work it out between you .

Good luck

Strange interpretation of the law...unless if the OP had explicitly refused filming, it would be difficult to prove voyeurism... People have CCTV cameras dotted around the room for different reason, some of which are not sexual. TI guess the OP should have had loads of communication before the meet, this is always underrated.

"Should of known i'd get a lot of people calling bullshit. Look end of the day it happened, twice only reason I noticed this time was because i went to look at the "clock" at the side of their bed and noticed it had a small camera in the corner! I certainly don't want to be vile and this is something that's crossed my mind when I've been in somebody's home.

If you only noticed it this time because you looked at the clock, how do you know there was a first time? Have you been informed or have you seen the film on social media? You might be worrying about nothing!

Also, are you sure the tablet was recording during the second occurrence. If yes then I think I would have grabbed it and deleted the film there and then. Too bad if if it got damaged in the ensuing struggle with hubby!

What vile comments, what have I missed ?

It does seem a little unusual so you will get people question whether it’s a true story, just look at the comments and you’ll see most people are shocked

Definitely seek legal advice.

That video could end up anywhere. I’ve had pics taken from here and put on a porn site. Fortunately someone told me and I was able to get them removed. It wasn’t anything nude but we have no control over digital media.

Best advice would be to accommodate or book a hotel room.
