I know that some people wont meet smokers, although its not a big issue for us. But how about vapers? I(ashley) have been off cigerettes for 3 years but took up vaping to kick the habit, But i dont consider my self a smoker any more. Thoughts?

I think the site needs a new tickbox for vaping. I'm reluctant to meet smokers but vapers would but be an issue.

Only downside I'd say to meeting vapers would be if they fog you out haha smell 100% better than smokers do

Maybe an update on the profile tick boxes needs to be added

As an ex smoker, I personally don't like the smell of cigarettes even when I smoked I didn't like it. This is why I don't want to meet smokers. Even if smokers mouth wash etc, there usually is a lingering smell.

With vaping you don't get that nasty smell.

But it does smell really nice, I'm on with cherry Bakewell flavour

Some of the vape juices I love the smell when my partner vapes but some are pretty vile again better than ciggy smoke

After about 6 months off the cigarettes I ticked the no smoker box - but clearly added to our profile description that I vaped so potential meets we’re fully informed.

Some people don’t like it for a variety of reasons, and whatever those reasons might be - they should be respected.

I’ve been off the vape for 18 months now, so not an issue for us anymore.

A vape tick box would be good. I ticked the non smoker box but state that I vape & I haven't come across anyone who had a problem with it.

Currently vaping Refresher Bar...I can taste the fizz!

Both of us vape , we ticked the non smokers box and state we both vape in our profile , we havent had any issues as of yet , 1 guy we met asked Ian to vape while i ( Lucy ) and him played

It still makes me cough, so I would prefer they didn't vape in a closed room with me in it.

In a hotel vaping is banned too so they have to go outside still-which brings me to the issue of them popping out every half hour to have a puff.

I don't care if people vape and it technically isn't smoking because it's not harmful to others and doesn't smell like cigarettes. Just ask people you may meet if they mind and put it in your profile.

I've found a lot of non-smokers and ex-smokers (that don't vape), still consider vapers to be 'smokers' because they've wandered in town or our and about past a Cloud Chaser and been enveloped in a massive cloud of lemon meringue pie fog (or whatever flavour fog it happens to be), don't like the smell and equate it to being 'smoke'. There are some truly awful smelling vape juice fogs out there. It might taste nice to the user, but the fog isn't necessarily as sweet smelling.

I usually make my own juice and it's usually either custard or rhubarb and custard with nic.

I think it if didn't have the nic in it, I'd have gone totally mad by now.

We vape. We have put we are none smokers on our profile but stated we do vape, but are considerate about it. We also tell any potential meets that we vape in case it is an issue. SO far it hasn't been

Vaping is certainly a much more pleasant and clean alternative to smoking. I wouldn't have any issue meeting folk who vape, as long as they're not producing huge clouds of smoke with it or just sucking on it constantly as some vapers do... We wouldn't refuse a meet just because someone's a vaper.

I wish there was a vape option instead of smoker option for us vapers.

Big difference between the two in terms of tastes of lips and mouth.

Both things are weird. Vaping is just flavored vegtable oils. No1 should get abuse for preferances.

I much prefer vaping as i smoked for 14 years and in the 3 years since i quit and took up vaping ive never felt better.

I had the pleasure of meeting a non smoker/vaper. It wasn't pleasant for me as a non smoker but each to their own. I just wish people were honest about their smoking situation. It's not pleasant for everyone.

Im tee total so i hate the smell of booze but im not gonna piss and moan about people that drink or how drinking is worse for your body.

I'm almost tee total. I complain about d*unk people exercising poor judgement and people trying to pressure me to drink. If I were allergic to alcohol residue, I'd not meet drinkers either.

But that's the beauty of life. Everyone has their preferences. It would be boring if we didn't. We would never take a huff with someone who didn't want to meet us because we vape. That's their choice and we fully respect that. But we also respect the fact that some people smoke or vape. Good job life is full of variety
