Accepting there's no chemistry

Arranged a meet last Fri but at short notice knew we wouldn't be able to make it so rearranged for the next day. Agreed to meet for coffee first so we can be sure all are happy, sadly for us we felt there was no chemistry or mutual attraction in persononce chatting in person so politely told the guy we weren't interested in taking it further n went our merry way . Low n behold we are then bombarded with messages asking why we didn't want to play, to which in every one we were polite but truthful without hurting his feelings, or so we thought. This rather not so nice chap then sends a lovely body shaming message n blocks us.

Wish people could just accept that there's not always a mutual attraction when meeting in person to take things further.

Easter rant over

Enjoy the sunshine xx

Mismatched expectations.

If anyone asks why we don't want to meet them we tell them once that there was no chemistry and if a second message arrives arguing we block them.

If that’s the reaction to a polite refusal just imagine what it would have been like if you’d said you didn’t want see him again after a meet!

Struggle to understand the mentality of some blokes on here. Yes, it can be a frustrating experience at times but I doubt many of you find ranty emails and sulking an attractive trait, it’s hardly likely to make you change your mind.

You don't have to give reasons for not pursuing things with others - a polite decline should be sufficient for anyone. I think it's then worth adding the block to a profile, where there's nothing going to transpire, whether friendship or sex, which prevents such abuse from being sent/received.

A lot of people send such messages, where you switch from being the hottest thing since sliced bread, to being unattractive, once rejected: some people aren't able to accept rejection gracefully.

Always block as well as report inappropriate behaviour from others.

There is no point in going beyond 'the social stage' if there is no chemistry or mutual interests...
