Just been told by someone I might be a ten on fab but I'd be a five in real life (for context - this was after I'd rejected him and he hadn't seen my face, only the public pics on my profile). As shitty as that is to hear, it's not exactly the first time I've heard this on here. Nine times out of ten when I say thanks but no thanks my message either gets deleted (which is absolutely fine) or I get a polite "no worries, thanks for letting me know" back. But then I get those that think they should be letting me know I'm absolutely out of my mind to be rejecting straight up tens like them because I'm nothing but a fat, ugly bitch. When I bring up the irony that they were begging to fuck a fat cow only moments before, they then remind me that men will fuck anything and they would never try it with me in real life.

Anyway, all this begs the question: is it pointless to have standards on here? Or even hold yourself to some sort of level where you have the confidence to feel good about yourself without some see you next Tuesday with a bruised ego trying to bring you back down a peg or two? Are they right? Should I just resign myself to the fact that no one on here cares what I look like as long as I let them fuck me and I'm not allowed to be picky because I'm fat?

Remember that sexy comes in all different shapes and sizes. You deserve to be as picky as you like and guys who make comments over your weight aren't worth any time thinking about. For what it's worth, if I lived closer I'd definitely consider myself lucky if we met Stay sexy x

As others said - sexy comes in all shapes and sizes, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Just because you may not fit the standards created by fashion magazines (I certainly don't), it doesn't mean you should allow any idiot to get you down. Stay confident and sexy within yourself (which, I agree, is sometimes easier said than done) and it will shine through.

It's actually quite interesting as I had a conversation lately with my 'weekend husband', regarding beauty standards that are projected in the society. I was going by those created by fashion magazines, but he said to actually look at porn magazines, as those are much more diverse. Apparently, women there come in all shapes and sizes, which was quite a shock for me. But a positive shock .

Also, I go to swingers clubs regularly, and they taught me you can be sexy in any age/shape/size. So just keep your standards, love yourself and don't get down by spiteful comments.

Those classic words that they send after rejection "your loss" .... well if we didn't fancy them in the first place and said no we are clearly not losing anything!

The rude comments used to upset me when I was first on here but have learnt to just block and move on now.

It's entirely your choice who you want to meet and if someone isn't your type then that's your choice. If they are nasty when rejected then I say it was a good call to say no, obviously have zero respect for women and will get nowhere on here x

All over me until I am nice and reply with the "thanks but etc etc" ..I then get the," well you're a freak anyway and should have died at birth" sort of crap (Yep I've actually had that).. .. it's horrible sometimes but just ignore, block and move on and leave 'em to sweat out their nonsense on their own ...one gets a thick skin after you have been on here for a while

op please understand this is not just you and its not a size thing i get it often when i say no thanks ..i get called awful things and im a size 8 .... i think your find its aimed at women of all size and its done by a small group of people who can not handle rejection in life and the internet gives them a protection bubble to hide behind... been swinging nearly 20 years its go worse with the growth of the internet but i laught it off and block ....and remember sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me.

Sad how some people think. They value someone more highly as a sexual comodity on FAB than the would in everyday life. In their find you being of Fab = an assumption youll put out = a higher value to them as a sexual comidity. People who think of you this way are people to avoid. Sadly there is no (to my knowledge) accurate equipment you can buy to detect these people when they are lying and saying in their opinion your the best thing since sliced bread. I suppose all you can use is experiance and gut instinct to combat these people.

However I genuinely believe men will say anything to get somewhere. So much false flattery that women and couples just don't entertain.

That doesn't mean you shouldn't have confidence, it means that they also come out with insult's just as easily as compliments if it suits them. Both should be treated with a pinch of salt

That's horrible, nobody should have those things said to them just for being themselves. Some people are truly vile.

Thank you everybody for your kind words and support. I do usually brush these kinds of things off but I think I was just feeling sorry for myself at 3am,full of a cold and unable to sleep and needed a good rant. You guys are right though, I shouldn't let anybody make me believe I'm not as sexy as I feel. If I want to feel like a straight up ten I bloody well will, regardless of whether it's on here or in real life - as everybody should!

To be fair to the men of Fab, they aren't ALL bad. Like I said, most of the time I'll get a polite reply back. I've had this too OP. Thankfully they are in the minority. Most guys on here are polite and it's the odd few that can't handle the rejection. It's not just men though, like in all walks of life, horrible people aren't restricted to just one gender. Block them and have a rant then move on. No one is worth getting upset over x

Women don't drop standards in general even for NSA sex. They only do if they're a nymphomaniac or doing it to please a partner. Men will drop standards for NSA.

The ratios are so out of sync that it gives a misleading and false impression (distorted) to people.

Some women can buy into the delusion a bit but the only reason they get the attention sometimes is because of the prospect of NSA sex.

You are entitled to use the site exactly how you want and only let people that you are attracted to to be with (on the site or not). If it wasn't hurtful it would be amusing how some men can't take rejection, even a polite one. I often think that the guy's who are full of compliments and friendliness are just reveling their true nature when they send insults as a result of rejection.

I only really became aware of how much misogyny there was in society when I cam onto fab. It is one of a number of bad behaviours that exist on here. Which is sad as in my view, Fab should be a site for finding connection and friendship without complication.

I personally won't meet anyone on here who I don't find attractive. I'd say my standards are consistent both on AND off of Fabs.

However, I choose not to meet anyone who I know lowers their standards on here just for the sake of a fuck, especially when they badmouth their past meets to me . And say things like "I wouldn't look twice at her in real life, she's old/fat/mental/ugly....". I'd stay well clear as I don't like the thought of the same being said about me. And they just come across as cunty.

I know that most guys are just after a fuck. Sometimes it's clear to see by status updates that some would fuck absolutely anyone who gave them attention. I kinda like to feel that a guy is genuinely attracted to me and really wants me. Just my preference.

"Just been told by someone I might be a ten on fab but I'd be a five in real life (for context - this was after I'd rejected him and he hadn't seen my face, only the public pics on my profile). As shitty as that is to hear, it's not exactly the first time I've heard this on here. Nine times out of ten when I say thanks but no thanks my message either gets deleted (which is absolutely fine) or I get a polite "no worries, thanks for letting me know" back. But then I get those that think they should be letting me know I'm absolutely out of my mind to be rejecting straight up tens like them because I'm nothing but a fat, ugly bitch. When I bring up the irony that they were begging to fuck a fat cow only moments before, they then remind me that men will fuck anything and they would never try it with me in real life.

Anyway, all this begs the question: is it pointless to have standards on here? Or even hold yourself to some sort of level where you have the confidence to feel good about yourself without some see you next Tuesday with a bruised ego trying to bring you back down a peg or two? Are they right? Should I just resign myself to the fact that no one on here cares what I look like as long as I let them fuck me and I'm not allowed to be picky because I'm fat? "

Stay picky. If anything get pickier, if your libido will let you. These so called ‘10s’ (who thinks this way?) aren’t 10s, otherwise they wouldn’t be insulting. If you’re going to grade, include marks for personality.

And you are gorgeous. Select the people who are hottest to you, because their personality is hot too, and focus your efforts are them. You won’t die thinking ‘I wish I’d fucked the petty, mean spirited buff guy’. There are PLENTY of men out there.
