Expecting couple to have two Kik accounts

We have one Fab account and one Kik account (we’re a couple). Just conversed with couple who did not live together so they have separate Kik accounts. We’re chatting on chat. Exchanged photos. All good.

Then they say ‘what does female think?’. We say ‘We’re both here’ but they say they want 4 Kik accounts to be conversing. We couldn’t be bothered setting up another Kik account and said let’s just do a social. Then we’re blocked.

They said we were in the minority by not having two KiK accounts so 4 people could all chat at once if couples chat. Are we unusual ?

If it’s a couple we prefer everyone having there own, so you know who’s responding etc but if it’s just a male I let the mrs take most of the chats but me still be in them ? So yeah spectate kiks, it also helps filter out the single guys pretending to be couples

We have friends we have met and chat on Kik.

However by the logic of this couple we would need to Fab accounts to prove there are two people in the couple. We have veris for that.

We have two Kik accounts but we meet as singles as well.as a couple.

It is easier sometimes for a group chat if everyone has their own Kik accounts but we have chatted to couples with only one account and we always ask for a live pic on all Kik conversations anyway

When I was on here as a couple we had separate kik accounts. At least then you know who's saying what. And it doesn't matter if one of you doesn't say much, at least they can see what's being said. If we didn't have an account each we might as well have just carried on chatting on Fab.

On kik you can have a group chat. Link whoever you like from your kik contact list onto the one group chat. No need for all those kik accounts.

There is without a doubt a culture of males pretending to be couples. How widespread we will never know. Given the experiences we are all trying to achieve through the site ‘normal people’ would frown upon us I fear and as a result we are extremely cautious. This would account for persons wanting others to have a KIK account each. Personally my thoughts are ..you could do a 10 second video call to prove you are all there which would negate this! Then all can be happy. They are rude to block you. There are some real odd people to contend with and that couple who blocked you quite clearly fit into that category. Move on and talk to the nice ones xx

Agree that other comnent..what a load of BS. Kik is a great tool. It has face timing, ability to send voice messages, make call, instant messaging. Kik also has free gaming and other chat sites attached.

Best of all for some is the photo bomb option. You send a pic with a timer attached. From a few seconds to minutes. After the time has gone, your sent pic disappears!

Lots of other features too which this site nor WhatsApp etc ever has. For me is the fact I don't need to send my number to anyone on this site. My privacy and safety is secure by using kik....unlike WhatsApp which many think nothing of throwing their number around to randoms on a site like this. So us kik users are far from dreamers, timewasters and pic collectors!

I mean really? So what do you suggest people use when they don't want to give out a number and can't spend all the day sitting on fab?

I use kik because I've had a few incidents where people have harassed me by telephoning and texting me (even after I blocked them, they'd private number me) .

It's another form of staying in contact with someone and getting to know someone better without sitting online.

You can't tar everyone with the same brush.

So here’s the thing :-

We have veris stating we are a couple

From people who have lots of veris too

We have pics on our profile of both of us

We showed face pics of both of us

We live close enough to do a social and we’re offering a social

But we DO NOT have two Kik accounts

We could be a single guy pretending but the evidence is quite strong we’re a couple and if we are a single guy we could fake two Kik accounts too.

A social is the ultimate way to ensure you are a genuine couple and if you turn up and it’s a guy on his own you walk away.

People get hung up on tiny things like not having two Kik accounts rather than looking at all the other evidence.

And the cherry on the cake is they had never met a couple plus they’re one veri was a single guy and they were his only veri too ! Don’t think they were a single guy but perhaps dreamers who look for an excuse not to meet rather than a reason to meet

I had a couples account a few years ago, we were both talking to a couple. Things progressed and we started talking on whatsapp on the males phone when we were together but the couple were on their own. They pushed and pushed for me to join so i did.

So low and behold the male half starts messaging me outside of our chat time, i got uncomfortable (as it was ment to be us 4) and I mentioned it on a text night. He denied everything and it got very nasty, made out I was lying and it had been all me initiating it.

If I was in a couples situation like you again, I would do the same.

It's up to you how you run your swinging life. I (mrs) have a kik account. Mr has the log in details and can use it but we tend not to. I am being cynical, but maybe this couple have an ulterior motive to chat to the female part of a couple alone. As long as they are chatting to you both then it should not matter.

I have enjoyed threeway group messaging with couples, where the hubby and the wife each have their own messenger account, so that we can say whatever we like to each other, but everyone sees exactly what is said. It’s a really great way of building a friendship and keeping in touch between meets

Totally agree. We use fab and other sites and have met many people along the way, never through the medium of kik. People just seemed to want us to share videos and pics. So we avoid kik conversations as much as possible

Yes but you get into the endless chat world so we’d rather answer a few questions, check compatibility then get to meet face to face. We’re readonably busy in real life so don’t have time to do lots of chat.

We have a theory that the longer chat goes on without a meet then the less likely it is that a meet will ever take place.

There is nothing wrong with fab messenger to get to know if we want to meet someone the verifications as a couple the styles of writing and things like timing and distance are relevant. Kik gives nothing we don’t know and as we only meet couples or parties then nothing happens until the girls have chatted as let’s face it without female consent nothing ever will happen.

We will use WhatsApp after knowing them I’m real life as they can be trusted to make arrangements or just have some fun but anyone that insists anything on us like kik will be denied for reasons above usually one half of partner like to try and isolate another.

We communicate as a couple and we meet and play as a couple no exceptions

Ahh, I think we have a slight misunderstanding here; I was meaning setting up a (private) group chat with people I’ve met face to face, not before a meet. No, I use Fab for contacting first, then WhatsApp or kik once we’ve become friends

It’s a tricky one as we like pre-meet chats sometimes, and it’s better if all 4 people can get involved. Plus we’ve had a few fake couples profiles which is easier to do if they say ‘we both share an account’.

Also Kik is anonymous which is helpful if you don’t want to give out numbers early days, especially as Facebook can find profiles based on phone numbers sometimes so then your anonymity has totally gone!

I would resist making life any more complicated than it needs to be and wouldn't bow to pressure due to others insisting that 'most' people do something a specific way and thus we should.

Having multiple single accounts supports people trying to gain influence more via one partner imo and isn't needed, if you're going to be communicating together - it suggests that people wanting this aren't perhaps as close to each other as they may first appear. I'd probably have a video chat and discuss it, all together, so that you can determine what may really be driving this. I don't buy into near real-time chatting as the norm - unless you're minutes away from meeting and last minute adjustments/confirmations need to be made - communicate when it's appropriate for yourselves, the right time and place and when you've all discussed what you're wanting, before response. Worst case with single accounts, one person is trying to leverage wank chat with one of the others or to gain influence, leading to agreement that you'd do something they may think the other wouldn't agree to.

Don't buy into the pressure to conform to their standards - assert your own.

This was our experience of kik too, obviously genuine people do use it as this thread shows, but I never met a single person I spoke to on Kik as all they wanted were pictures and wank chat. I deleted it in the end.

We both have separate kik accounts which we use to suss out the loonies/ pic collectors/dreamers, as you don’t have to give out your phone number and it doesn’t link to other media accounts.

We have never used kik and have absolutely no intention of doing so. We are a couple with validations and can pick up a phone if we need to. Meeting people is not an issue whether at a club or in private somewhere. After a couple of messages and careful selection of someone's profile you're sixth sense is never usually wrong and after 10 years we have never had a no show or an appalling experience.

We have both to use for group chat with another couple. Did use separately but found couple didn't know what was going on in separate convos so learnt from that. Plus some males try it on thinking get away with it away from mrs xx

not if we are at work no.. would only take one person to notice it and the whole place knows not something we would want, lets face it people love gossip and being nosey. Obviously walking down a random towns street isnt much of a issue.

We never used anything other than a cheap 'fab' mobile. Kept our personal phones private and managed to chat on here, via the cam rooms and via text. Never stopped us meeting or arranging anything.

Sometimes I think the more complicated people make things the harder it actually becomes to arrange anything. If you've got four people in the equation then if you're all chatting separately and at different times then you have to pass on those separate messages or you find yourselves in the situation where one party feels left out or is sidelined in conversations.

We did once speak to a another couple (again who didn’t live together). We had a joint Kik account and they each had their own. They wanted L on the chat (and she can’t be bothered with endless online chat) so we set L up with Kik against our better judgement.

All 4 of us started chatting then L thought she’d chatted enough and was getting bored so didn’t send as many messages. So they then decided not to meet because there was not the right amount of chat going on from one of us (L).

That’s why L now can’t be bothered with the individual Kik account. We’re a couple, got proof of that and don’t need to chat endlessly before meeting.

The longer we spend on Fab the less patience we have and think it would be so much easier just to go to a non-local club. Online introductions are an absolute minefield and a pain.

What a complete load of BS, we chat on fab and then move over to kik to get to know them a little better then arrange times and dates of our meets, through there, that way we don't have to give out our phone number to someone we haven't necessarily met yet, all I can say is if you haven't met anyone who chats on kik, then you are probably chatting to the wrong people.

What's a kik account??

I have enough trouble keeping up with messages on here, WhatsApp, text, email, Facebook!

So many profiles on here aren't couples - just single guys pretending to have a female partner. It does get a bit dull although you do learn how to spot them. That or just ignore/block.

Personally I don't need another means of communicating. Message on here. Either meet or don't meet. If we click then fine. If not no worries.

We didn’t cam as we were never asked. Also we showed the veris on our account. Should not really have been much doubt that we were a genuine couple.

We don’t usually cam. Don’t think people look their best via a phone or laptop video link. More likely to stop a potential meet than confirm one. Face to face is much better.

Myself and my boyfriend both have and use Lol separately. He is really busy with work and can't keep looking at his phone every 5 mins. I, to be fair, find a 4 way conversation draining so I usually handle the chatting, either on Fab, Kik or WhatsApp with either the male or female of the couple.

My boyfriend has access to all the conversations i have. I show him the messages and vice versa.

My experience is the complete opposite, I use it with people I am planning on meeting to keep in touch more easily - if I'm trying to find them in a busy pub or cafe I don't want to be opening Fab on my phone.

I'm also very clear that I don't send pics on request, I've got enough on here, so don'get any pic collectors on there.

There's only 1 person I chat to on kik I haven't met but that's down to geography, we're both meeting others.

Our preference is for a 4 way chat. Just so much easier to see that everyone is on the same page. We don't chat for hours on end (no time for that) but a few mins ahead of a meet is generally enough. I'd always be wary of just one account as you have no idea if the female is even seeing the messages. Of course with a well verified couple this isn't so much of an issue.

We don't bother to block just stop replying if we become suspisious about motives. N x

People use it for alsorts of things but everyone on our Kik is a genuine swingers we meet up with regular with."

I prefer Kik to fab because it's much more pleasant on the eye and offers more options.

Sometimes I chose to hide my fab temporarily and I use kik in a meantime to maintain old friendships.

I spoke to a couple on kik before and I also feel people should have separate accounts.

I said I didn't do Skype after suspected hacking issues a year before. The couple got very aggressive in their responses, but after I refused to sign up to Skype they, in very strong 4 letter worded language, branded me as a Wimp & a timewaster, then blocked me!

They are still on here. Reckon I luckily escaped!

We have 2 kik accounts

The reason being the male spends 6 months + working away from home.

It gives us the opertunity to chat to others as and with kik you can also share video which you can't on fab.

Will agree you need to be careful but you can use the kik camera to verify your are a male and female.

They said we were in the minority by not having two KiK accounts so 4 people could all chat at once if couples chat. Are we unusual ?

We have two as it’s easier to tell who’s said what. But we rarely use it as we prefer Fab then social! Hardly a reason to block someone, they must have trust issues. I wouldn’t worry about it! Everyone’s different!

"On kik you can have a group chat. Link whoever you like from your kik contact list onto the one group chat. No need for all those kik accounts.

Kik is easier & more "chatty" than here. As said, set up a group chat our rule has always been if someone messages outside the group they are blocked, unless of course its a birthday surprise or something like that.

It does make it easier with two accounts. Plus I find it funny writing messages while my hubby is sitting next to me the words ‘you piece of shit’ often come out of his mouth while I’m giggling away!

We only have one kik account as generally it’s always the female speaking, hubby has access on here to read messages, and will then read the kik conversations I have every other day. Takes quite a lot of conversation to get me on kik anyway, so there aren’t that many to read! Lol

My play mate and I used to have just one kik account which we both could use but found it took up to much of our time. So just chat and arrange meets on here.

We have 3 accounts . But mainly only use the couples account between us. But we will use our single ones if we need to. We like that you can instantly tell if someone is real by using the Live Photo option.

And like others have said we stay in touch on it with lots of people. It’s just like what’s app without phone numbers.

On here our friends messages can get mixed up with all the other hundreds that get through but on kik we can see when friends have messaged easily .
