Friend requests

Every day we are getting at least 10-20 random friend requests from people we haven’t spoken to. If I post a new photo, we can get anything over 50. It’s annoying as we have to go through each one to check if we have met them at a club etc. Can I ask why people send them randomly? Seems so pointless, especially as we are happy to send face photos to whoever.

And I sent you a friend request when OP

If you're that arsed about finding people who you've met up with somewhere, you look for them

A note on your profile - all freind requests deleted, we'll find you

Eliminates your "entitlement" that you think you're above anyone else

Just delete the fucking things and stop whinging on a ohhh look at us thread

Yep, so they can wank over your private pics. Just go in and delete all if they bug you.

I don't always accept them but they don't annoy me either. Fucking raging that someone has the cheek to find me attractive and wants to rip the head off it to my pics

It's like winks everyone uses them differently, we're not too fussed about who we accept it's more so we can control who sees our face pics and we generally accept people if there's an attraction there and we're confident they're nobody we know.

We send them occasionally to kinda "save" people for later as we're not playing right now so seems like a waste of people's time messaging them when it isn't going to go any further for months but we find them attractive and would want to contact them in the future but everyone uses them differently.

Never send them to people who's profile says no random friend requests though.

This makes sense. I guess it’s cause we only add people who we have met or meeting, as we have face photos public.

If you dont delete them and just leave them sitting there it stops someone from resending another request for about 30 days (if my memory serves me correctly)

It seems to be people just wanting access to our friends only pics. Noseyness I guess.

Like you, we have a huge influx of them after we post any new pics. We just quickly go down the list to see if we recognise anyone from meeting or previous communication and then just use the delete all function.

They are chancing their arm and probably hoping to look at your private pics.

Put on your profile that if you haven't met then you will just delete any friends request you receive.

Wait till they are off line accept their friends request look at their private photos and then unfriend and block it simple really and what we do

I tend to think about the whole experience as meeting someone in a bar or club. I wouldn’t go up to a woman and say ‘can we be friends, please, can we, can we, please?!’ I’d have a chat first and take it from there.

So I send a message first and if I don’t hear back I move on: if I do, great, we ‘chat’ and send the friends request through.

Oh and the chat isn’t ‘fancy a meet!’ Again you wouldn’t open a conversation in real life like that!

As a test try putting your friends only pics to private, that will eliminate the pic collectors. Or be really mean & have fully clothed "boring" pics in friends only. See what affect both options have over the next few day? My money is on the volume dropping with no friends pics.

Just bulk delete them, if they are truly interested in meeting and not just wanting to see if you have face or porno pics in friends they will message you anyway, so just one button to press. Perhaps put on your profile that you do this to stop people you met in clubs just sending a friends request before sending a message first.

"It's so they can see your private pics and so you can see there's

I guess there hoping you'll like theres and ask you to meet "

This.

If we like the look of them then we wait until they’re off line. Perve. Then unfriend again until we’re ready to actually confirm again when WE want to.

Otherwise their request just gets deleted.

I do agree it’s a bit baffling but as with anything on this site so many people use so many different things in different ways.

If you're that arsed about finding people who you've met up with somewhere, you look for them

A note on your profile - all freind requests deleted, we'll find you

Eliminates your "entitlement" that you think you're above anyone else

Just delete the fucking things and stop whinging on a ohhh look at us thread "

Have to say that 3 days on this subject. I'm with him just press delete all. You show everything on your profile so they have nothing to gain. I think it's just a look at us very picky pair lol.
