Did someone mention tape?...bdsm? excellent post OP..??

My opinion. .old fashioned ball gag for the mouth..less restrictive on air...The leather bar is ok but can hurt the edges of the mouth...A long thin scarf, satin can be seen as erotic..depends on the scene..

for bondage, prefer rope, different colours for decorative.

Tape is ok, I use thin red Plas wrapping tape..It comes off with ease with use of safety sissors.

Gaffer tape is sticky, so I avoid because when the scene/play is over, you don't want to spend ages getting the stuff off.

Of couse if the sub is into knife play, well that changes the dynamic of the scene/play, you can build the sub space with the use of a knife while they are taped..then carefully cut the their bonds....making sure you use after care.

You can buy bondage tape also.

It is available in a range of colours, very shiny and only sticks to itself so is very easily removable, I wouldn't dream of using gaffer or duct tape personally.

Pallet wrap however....

A great and must have toy/tool in every bdsm persons tool box.

Can use to wrap the entire body, or jut the legs or arms..for the more experienced, you can do the head, making sure you leave plenty of space for the nose and mouth..not for the in experienced

Wrapping the arms from the wrists upwards is fun....taking off fairly easy with safety sissors

I prefer bondage tape or rope as a few mentioned above. Gaffa tape is for pure SM imo.

For those who are new to it please have an emergency pair of scissors close by to cut the restraints if needed. Play kinky but safe.

Duck/Gaffer tape is a nightmare and mainly used for hardcore BDSM activities. In the interest of safety, always make sure that you have some safety shears handy in case you need to remove it quickly. It is a nightmare to remove.

Much better options have already been suggested such as rope, cuffs, bondage tape, saran wrap. All of these are much safer and easier to remove in a hurry.

Have fun and play safe.

I only ever use duck tape for mummification bondage and only then over a thin cling film wrap. Sets like concrete and you have to monitor the person closely. Lots of good advice above.
