Im thinking of doing a big social meet up from the Midlands room in chat

so how do i keep the guest list fair with men women and couples

do they need to verified and other shite?

decide on a venue first then you can decide how many people you can allow on the list....go from there

If it's purely a social then I don't see why you should limit it to only verified people. Socials are a great way for newbies to get to know others... I went to the Cardiff social shortly after joining when I was still unverified.

In fact, there are a few people in the Wales section of the forum who I'm sure could give you some tips on running a successful social. Might be worth popping in there and seeing if they're prepared to share their wisdom.

i agree with this, its the newbies and the un verified people that need to get their foot in the door more than anyone and a saocial would be a great way for them to get known

I would advise to decide on the venue and date first.

Otherwise you could spend a lot of time arguing on both, and it could get unpleasant.

One thing to remember: you will never find a date and venue that suits everyone, so don't try!
